I have dealt with many walk in clinics and know the experience can be hard. My experience every time at this clinic has been professional from beginning to end. The front
Desk was professional, empathic and practical in their management of patients. The wait is just as long at this clinic as it can be at the other clinics but the care from the doctors was good and the treatment every time has been very successful. I don’t normally write reviews but this clinic deserves a much better treatment than given in these reviews.

This clinic is my go to when I am in need of a doctor when my own family doctor is fully booked. Been here few times over the years. Always greeted with a smile by Lee-Ann at front desk. Very professional. I've seen how other people can treat the staff when they think they are entitled. It's disturbing.
They do a great job there at making sure everyone gets in at a timely matter.

This is an update to my review last week of the Wellington walk-in clinic. This time my mother got to see Dr. Abidi, and then LeeAnne kindly followed up for us with him for a request for a referral to a specialist.
We appreciated his reasonableness and open-mindedness in doing this. Once again the Wellington Walk-in clinic has been just awesome! Thanks again LeeAnne!

My previous review Mar 6...
I am not one to ever write a review, but I can't help but want to recommend the Wellington walk-in clinic in Barrie. My elderly mother is without a family doctor right now so she has been going there for the last few years and doesn't care if she ever gets a family doctor now because she is so happy with the service there! She says she is always treated very well. She likes the convenience of being able to go to the clinic whenever she wants instead of having an appointment. That way she can go when the weather is better for her to drive herself. She usually gets to see doctor Madhvani and she really likes his kind and patient way. She and I especially appreciate LeeAnne, the receptionist. She has to be the nicest, most helpful receptionist I've ever met anywhere! She's friendly, personable, experienced, knowledgeable, compassionate, and goes above and beyond to be helpful.
Thank you so much Wellington Walk-in Clinic!

Best clinic in town! Doctors are amazing, kind and thorough. I've tried correspondence with other clinics and I just keep coming back here. Receptionist was very personable and friendly. On site pharmacy was huge plus. I was in and out in 30 minutes with my prescription. Highly recommend!

Absolutely horrible experience. The wait time and service here are horrible. We got to the clinic at 10:30am, and were told there was a 1-2 hour wait, which is already ridiculous. Over an hour and a half of waiting, only one patient was called out of the whole waiting room, which was at full capacity. At 1pm we went to the front desk to ask how much longer the wait would be and were then told that the doctor was on a ONR HOUR lunch break. We left and went to another walk in clinic and we were seen within 30 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous and will never be going here again.

Front desk, Le-ann, Dr. Abidi. I can’t say anything more than they are amazing. They care I’ve never had a walk-in clinic do a follow up when concerned.
As all walk-ins are in Barrie, it takes a little bit of time To see them, but it’s well worth the wait.
They are fantastic. They are friendly and very helpful.

Extremely disrespectful and unprofessional receptionist/front staff. Waited outside before they opened for 30 mins to be the first one seen at the walk-in clinic. However, they let everyone that was waiting in line after me, get seen before me. And it wasn't an accident... the receptionist knew some of the people before me and was chatting with them while ignoring other patients. Thankfully, a kind man ended up standing up for me, so I was seen by the doctor. But I also had a terrible experience with the doctor (mainly dealt with a student doctor). Won't go into detail but I definitely won't return here and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. All of the one star reviews speak for themselves.

The receptionist here is horrible. I think horrible is an understatement really.
I went in for a 2 step TB test. Didnt really care for her but just needed the test done. I got my 1st TB test there. Came in the following week for the step 2, she told me they had run out of TB tests.
I reminded her of my visit the week prior about my first TB test and required the paperwork as I was told to be back there the following week. So again her horrible attitude “oh so you need to see the doctor” I waited 2 hours for the same visit I had the week prior and just to be told by the doctor they did indeed have TB tests! At this time, I had already visited the Blake walk in for the step 2.
On my way out, I let her know that the clinic does indeed have TB tests. She was so angry lol why? Idk. I just left.
It gets better, she CALLS me saying I need to come back and pay for my TB test. I couldn’t help but laugh because she really tries to power trip when she’s literally just a receptionist LOL. I never got the second TB test there. Oh, also tried getting me to pay for the doctors note (1st TB test) when I already paid 80$ or so the week prior. Unreal.
