Lauralea is a wonderful listener, compassionate, and offers such insightful advice. She will listen and make note of key words or phrases that I don’t necessarily catch myself using. Her ability to understand what is happening in my mind and then provide me with effective tools in a profound way has made such a positive impact. I have never felt any judgement from her. One of the many key takeaways from each session that I find so helpful is how validating she is of my feelings or a situation I’ve experienced. She has made such a positive impact on my mental health. I look forward to every session with her, and I leave lighter and more confident every single time. Wow. 48 5 star reviews! Not even one 4 star! Almost like she is asking for the reviews although I’m pretty sure that would be considered unethical in her line of work.
If you are a male and weren’t a perfect father don’t take your child to this person. She never once tried to facilitate a family session with me and my oldest son who I regularly took to his sessions, but rather went behind my back and took my wife as a client and supported her in our separation, especially concerning custody of my boys. She then took my youngest son as her client. Conflict of interest?
Guess she never took into consideration my ex wife hasn’t had any relationship with her mother, father or sister for over 10 years. Apparently they are evil like me.
Then after nearly 3 years my youngest son reaches out to me and says he would like to slowly rebuild our relationship. He was 15 at the time. My wife finds out and takes him to this person twice in 7 days although he hasn’t talked to her for over a year and his texts to me stop. Nice work Lauralea!
If your goal is to repair whole family relationships find someone else.
By the way my ex wife gave her a 5 star review. The only review she’s ever given anyone.

Therapy can be a scary process because we are our most vulnerable. I was very hesitant to reach out to a professional as a result of my first attempt at therapy. I want you to remember that No one therapist is the same. Lauralea creates a safe space where you are able to express your thoughts and feelings with no judgement . Her space is so cozy and comforting coupled with her calm, caring, and empathetic personality. I have been seeing Lauralea for over 1 year now. Lauralea's calm and kind demeanor and beautiful office space immediately had me at ease during our first meeting. Lauralea is a lovely person with a high degree of emotional intelligence and compassion for people. I found her in an online search and felt that based on what she had written about her practice, that I would be able to connect with her, and was not disappointed. At my first meeting with Lauralea, I remember feeling comfortable talking to her and thinking, "This lady can help me." If you have been to other counsellors and not had this feeling, then you can imagine what a relief it is to finally find someone who is a good fit for you.

Lauralea has helped me through some difficult health issues, as well as some depression and anxiety. Her fee is very reasonable and I have recommended her to others. Her practice is in a comfortable suite in the architecturally interesting Old Mill building in the town of St. George. Parking is free on site and if you arrive early or feel like having a drink or a snack afterwards, there is an interesting coffee place downstairs that feels a bit like a medieval pub and serves great apple fritters.
