Absolutely love my nurse practitioner but I am regularly left with a bad taste in my mouth after phone calls from the receptionist. She has an incredibly rude tone of voice and sounds offended when I told her my son no longer required 2 month shots to be done by them as he obtained a pediatrician. She immediately starting insisting he needed to come in for a well baby visit as she had pressured me the first time to bring him there at all, before he even needed his shots and while he was still actively being seen by someone else. She then stated she was going to close his file to which I had to insist that he's not keeping the pediatrician forever and I am still a client. Then she proceeded to doubt that I had his shots done and wanted the pediatricians name and continuously kept sighing. The first time, she had called and said she was aware that I had my son, will he be a patient, and when will you be bringing him in- this was the first week he had been born. I responded that I would contact them to set up an appointment when he is not being followed by the midwife any longer. She called back and told me she was booking me in for that week because he has to come in. I've never felt so much attitude from a receptionist and it constantly prevents me from seeking help from this Centre. I love my nurse practitioner, but hate the process and people I have to deal with in order to see her. The receptionist regularly makes me feel as though she doesn't trust me to provide adequate care for my son, as if I am a child. If you have experiences that are like this, please leave a review so we can make this centre a peaceful and welcoming environment for everybody. Healthcare and life is already stressful, we don't need to feel bad on top of it. Thank you for reading!!

We have been loyal members of this clinic for over 18 years, but our recent experience has been deeply disappointing. My daughter needed blood work and has been anxiously awaiting the results to get some clarity. Unfortunately, her care provider, Lena, decided to withhold the results until the end of September, deeming it "not urgent," despite it being a simple phone call. The only available times were during her school hours, or mid-October at the earliest. "Not urgent" does not equate to "non-actionable." My daughter has been on edge, filled with anxiety, while waiting for answers.

When I inquired about the possibility of another healthcare professional, such as an NP or RN, providing the results sooner, I was met with resistance at every turn by the receptionist. Each suggestion I made was dismissed, to the point where the situation became almost laughable. The receptionist was immediately disagreeable, uncooperative, and unwilling to work with us in any capacity.

This clinic seems to have lost its focus on patient-centered care. I have never had such a poor experience in all these years. Speaking with the healthcare staff felt more like a confrontation than a conversation. Your role is to provide care and support to patients, not to leave them feeling lost and uncertain about their next steps.

Worst clinic we have in Windsor. It takes months to make an appointment and when they make a mistake on their scheduling all you get is"sorry can't have you come in even though we screw up".

My nurse practitioner Alicia Peltier is amazing . She is extremely caring and thorough and will assess you from head to toe!!! I would never see anyone else.. If you can get a referral for her to be your medical provider I would highly recommend..I have had a few physician's in the past and by far a practicioner is the way to go..she has the bed side manor and compassion of a nurse and the medical expertise of a physician. Thank you for the time you take with me

The reception isn't bad. Not necessarily friendly but I don't look for that in a medical receptionist. I just like to be to the point and they are and that works for me.

My problem is with the other NP I used to see. I've been going to see Laura for over a decade. Her attitude towards me had gradually progressed to making me feel like she was annoyed with me but more importantly didn't take me seriously, acted like I was lying or just being overdramatic. Mind you, she didn't SAY anything out loud but body language and tone and the words she chose said it all.

My most recent appointment was to get some referrals for diagnostic purposes. However, I had (as of last year) moved 3 hours away into a very rural area which prompted her to say she *cant* service me anymore because I'm out of the district. She later admits when we were discussing a CHC in my area, that a community health center can't turn me down. Ironic. Since I moved here when covid happened, no one has been accepting patients and thus I have not been able to be seen for anything that a walk in clinic can't handle and the closest community health center is about an hour away in either direction so wouldn't I be out of their district too? FTR, I did all of that calling around when I first moved here last year and had been told by several professionals at different health services all over the county that there was nothing they could do for me. Of course, Laura didn't believe that when I said I tried everything.

There's many more stories that I don't have time to write about here. Regardless, I told her I'm moving back which made no difference. I wanted to stay there because it was easier to get in and since I've been going to her since I was about.... 14-16? And I'm 28. She knew all my history and was familiar with me. At this point, when I do move back it's just not worth it for me anymore. You have failed me as an NP and to be quite honest, I don't think you should be in a career meant for people to CARE about people because you never made me feel like you tried that hard to care about me.

Highly unprofessional clinic. They're still stuck in the 40s where no one can question the doctors and the doctors think of their patients as dumb immigrants. The receptionist is busy on her phone or reddit, while the nurses and doctors are talking about what they had for dinner last night. One doctor is particularly condescending (a female) and is quite stubborn to listen to patients' pleas and words. I would recommend those who want to go to a clinic to go elsewhere, as this clinic does not uphold the standard of modern clinic which is holistic in its conductance and nature.

My NP Alicia Peltier is amazing. She listens to any concerns I have, doesn't brush anything off, she is very empathetic and caring!
I've also spoken to their counselor, Caroline, I think her name is, and she is an absolute gem. An open ear, and SO very kind and compassionate.
