I haven't been a patient in quite some time. Although I keep getting messages saying I am due for a periodic health review and they have taken the liberty to schedule me for the next day, even on weekends. They call at the scheduled appointment time and I do not answer the phone.

Usually a few days later, I get phone calls from my actual family doctor stating they have been billed for a visit to Winterberry that I did not make or attend.

This clinic is absolutely ruthless and is commiting fraud. It's almost impossible to reach this clinic by phone. I have told them three times already I am no longer a patient and they don't seem to care.

I think it's time to file a formal complaint with the College of Physicians and Surgeons.

For those of you who are a patient or are considering becoming a patient, know it often takes weeks to get an appointment with them. The staff are rude and they don't care about their patients.

It's also pretty sad when I'm not even a patient and they give me a next day appointment that I didn't ask for. Although if you actually need to see a doctor, you're told it's going to be a few weeks.

I haven't had a family Dr for years. I had a trip to the hospital and was told to get one. I found this office online and I'm glad I did. I've been a patient for over 2 months and I have to say this is a well run team and vary knowledgeable about health issue and how to treat them. I've already had 4 or 5 appointments and they are always on time and easy to book with. Thank you, I'm glad I have your team looking after my health.

Winterberry Family Medicine has been our family doctors office since we arrived to Ontario from Alberta.
They have always been wonderful and pleasant and always getting us the help we need with same day appointments and referrals to spealists.
We couldn't ask for a better doctor's office. Thank you for a you do ♥

I have regular appointments at the practice. Usually it’s pretty good but lately wait times have been increasing. I understand stuff happens, things come up. Today I waited over 35 min past my appointment time. I saw the nurse walk by several times and then appear to go for lunch. I understand that everyone is entitled to a break. But do not make appointments that close to lunch time if things can’t be accomplished in a timely manner. I told the front staff that I was unable to wait any longer and left. My appointment would have taken less than 3 min. We respect your time by being on time for appointments so please respect ours as well. Now I will not be able to get my injection for close to 2 weeks when it should be 2x week. The online booking system will not allow some days to be booked and frankly I’m too annoyed to call.

I have been a patient since opening in 2015 and since have had a few kids, who are patients as well. I had really great care when I was expecting both kids. Wait times have improved with the opening of the second location and there are numerous options of nurses and nurse practitioners to see you quicker.

I absolutely love the staff here. Everyone is so friendly and helpful.

Right now I've been on a waitlist for a midwife for a big part of my pregnancy and my nurse Claudia and nurse practitioner Sarah have been amazing at easing my mind and making sure I take care of all my prenatal health needs. I get excited for visits with Claudia, she's fantastic. It's a relief to know my son has a great place to go.

Dr. Semenchenko is also amazing. He was the first doctor to ever help me with an issue I've been dealing with since I was 17 and I find him very easy to communicate with.

I feel lucky to have found this family doctor office, I have bad experiences elsewhere, but never here.

I recently became a patient at Winterberry Family Medicine. I have a huge phobia of medical appointments - to the point where I usually get nauseous and at times faint. Because of this, I usually avoid medical appointments at all costs, since I have had previous doctors who have been less than patient with me. I finally decided to face my fears and come in for a blood pressure check and a pap - which may not seem like a big deal, but it was HUGE for me. Jasmine was the most patient medical professional I have ever encountered. She talked me through each step and let me control the pace of things throughout the appointment, which was appreciated. She was supportive throughout every step, even at times where I had to pause and collect myself before moving forward. Jasmine made me feel comfortable in a medical office, which is something I never thought I’d be able to say. Thank you to the Winterberry Medical Team!

I have not been a patient here for over 5 years and in fact moved to a different GP. I did NOT book an appointment and emailed them to cancel it but they have yet to do so. This is unethical and illegal.
