The nursing staff is amazing. Just wanted to put that out there. The doctors don't care one bit. I was there for 9 hours and wasn't once looked over by a doctor. The doctor that did come to talk to me after 8 hours of waiting didn't even bother to read my chart. Tried to prescribe me with what I was already taking from the Tuesday hospital visit in another town. Didn't examine me, just tried to write a script and never came back. 2 sentences is what I got from her and it was to ask me what medications I was already taking. Sarah Luckett- Gatopoulos is the worst doctor I've ever encountered. Don't waste your time here.
ALL other staff were really really kind.

Attended this hospital today for both an ultrasound and mammogram. The tech for the mammogram should learn to use appropriate verbiage with patients! Saying release your "deathgrip" is never an appropriate thing to say. Commentary isn't necessary, simply make a request " ok, now we're going to let go of the handle" would suffice, thanks! Aside from that, my appointments were punctual.

I was there for an MRI. Processing me before MRI took less than 15 minutes. Staff extremely polite and helpful too. Emergency entrance is easily accessible, including for those with disabilities. Car park is $4. Have credit card or loonies to lay for parking when existing.

Went to the emergency department today. At arrival the to see doctor time was 45 min.sat there for more than 2 hrs and the time to see the doctor jumped to 4hours. . I walked out at that point. If you need To there call the ambulance you'll be seen right away.

If you have an Infant, DO NOT come here for Emergency. My daughter had a severe fever who was ignored and they tried to speak to us rudely. The Nurses think adult patients with sprained ankles are more important to attend to then 10 month old infants with a serious emergency. Your Infant will cry non stop waiting for a doctor once they get in. Please take your infant to Mcmaster or Another hospital.

We literally walked out. I made sure to them in there place before I did.

We went to ER on Saturday morning with our 15month old daughter . We would like to thank Dr. Stephanie , she is the best. The entire ER team is very helpful very compassionate.

I find it very upsetting to see such horrible comments on here when the staff at this (and every hospital) is going through a bloody pandemic!! How can you have negative things to say about any person working in the medical field (doctors, nurses, cleaning staff, technicians, volunteers, etc) through these crazy times It's not perfect and there are long waits LIKE EVERY HOSPITAL and perhaps they may seem off but you have no idea what they go through day in and day out. Please think before you post and thank-you to all the staff going ABOVE AND BEYOND!! ❤️
