My Mom has lived at Garden Terrace for the last 2 years.
Mom has had Dementia for several years and cannot care for herself, and has gone beyond Family being able to give her what she needs.
The Care, Compassion, and Respect My Mom has received here is over the top. We as a Family are so happy to have found a place where Mom can live her life with as much quality and dignity as possible.
To all the people, the REAL People who work at Garden Terrace, and have cared for and been Friends to my Mom. Each and every one of you are special. Thank you so much for giving us all, as a Family, peace of mind.
Mom passed away last night. Knowing my Mom, She would have thanked you with all of her heart.

A happy, relaxed atmosphere where the staff go above and beyond to meet the needs of the residents. I could not be more pleased with this nursing home. A most enjoyable respite!

Care was a hit & miss. Some PSW's are very good, some should opt for different occupation. 48 hrs to clear belongings out upon death, and missing property.
Considering the Costs, our Government really needs to step up and bring in sufficient staff.

1. Friday July 5 at 9:15 am. Arrived and no receptionist available, lobby was deserted.
2. My mother was to depart from a 10 day respite care, nothing was packed and half her clothes were missing.
4.. when I asked how this could happen, all I got was excuses.
5. Mons shirt was on inside out.
6. One PSW on her floor
7 Floor was left unattended for brief periods.
The list goes on...your parent deserves so much better than what this place offers! Look for any red flag, signs that tell you something is not right!

My dad was here for almost a year before he passed at the facility. The staff were always attentive and did the best they could with their dementia patients.
