Always great service when I go there, Dr Barry has been my eye Dr for over 20 years now and she has always been the best to me. Would also like to give a extended thank you to Sara Beth, over the passed couple months she has been such great help getting me into sunglasses even with my difficult prescription and all the other help she gave me with my glasses.

I had fallen down and broke the frame of my glasses. Dawn MacDonald did an awesome job in trying to find a suitable frame to fit my lenses and at a price I could afford and one that I would like. After an hour and half and a few phone calls and searching the frame display she came across a pair that suited me.I was so happy. She is very helpful and caring. A very lovely lady. I was 100% satisfied when I left FYi! Outstanding employee!

I was at FYI Miramichi on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 where I was greeted warmly by staff and waited on promptly. Everyone was so very friendly, courteous and friendly. My wait time was very short and the service was top notch. Dr. Barry and staff at FYI ARE THE BEST!

It’s not every day you leave a doctor’s office feeling uplifted, but that’s exactly what happened after my visit with Dr. Barry. Her warmth, clarity, and professionalism set a new bar for what healthcare should feel like. From the moment I walked into the office, I felt welcomed, cared for, and truly listened to. Dr. Barry has a rare combination of expertise and kindness that instantly put me at ease. This was hugely impactful for me as I do suffer from anxiety, but she was so warm, inviting, and fun to interact with. It was my best experience with a doctor to date.

Dr. Barry took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions with patience, and made sure I felt confident about my treatment plan. She even mentioned that, due to my age, I will continue to see changes in my vision over the next 10 years, more than I've experienced to date, which I found incredibly informative and now feel prepared for. The exam was thorough and never rushed.

The staff (sarah-beth & eve) were just as amazing. They patiently helped me choose new frames, going through as many options as I needed without ever making me feel rushed or pressured. They talked me through the pros and cons of each style, and at no point did I feel pushed toward the most expensive options—just what was best for me.

It’s rare to find a team that’s both so professional and so genuinely kind. I left feeling informed, confident, and well taken care of. I can’t recommend Dr. Barry’s office highly enough!

Was helped beyond what I was expecting! As a college student they worked with me the best they could on the price given that my perception is expensive by its self. I managed to get two pairs of glasses without breaking my bank! One pair came in faster then the other but that’s to be expected with the thickness of them and all the add ons I was able to get. 10/10 I recommend! Best service I’ve had! The team is really sweet too, and is able to keep a conversation going. 😊

I had an excellent appointment at FYI with Dr. Gatien. He was kind, thorough and extremely knowledgable. He took care and consideration with my exam and explained my findings in a way that I could understand. I am very thankful that he is local and would trust him fully with my visual care. FYI Miramichi is second to none. I have received excellent service anytime I have needed their services or care.
Dr Barry is kind and compassionate and her level of service is a 100% plus every time she sees you.
I especially want to recognize her for her dedication to her patients outside of business hours. I had an eye ‘emergency’ last night and reached out to her and she wouldn’t take no for an answer to meet with her later that evening at the office. Her level of care is without a doubt is the best in the business and her services are greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for your help last night and getting my eye emergency looked after. I appreciated it and I am so incredible appreciative of your time outside of your work hours.
