I was really pleased with the pricing and found the selection of frames to be decent for the value. However, I would have appreciated a bit more guidance from the opticians when it came to fit and style—felt like I had to really pry for feedback rather than it being offered naturally.

One other area for improvement would be the blue light lenses. The yellowish tint is a little off-putting and affects the overall look of the glasses more than expected.

Overall, a solid experience with great value, just a few tweaks away from being excellent.

Specsavers is a rip-off. They sell glasses like used cars! Their sales tactics are deceptive, slapping "discounts" on added features without mentioning that prices double when you inevitably need them for both lenses. Everything is “50-off”, but really it’s not: “the anti-glare coating UltraClear is half price at 60$” then you find out at the end it’s per lens, as if you would have it only on 1 lens.
The "options" they tout are just a way to hike up the price. Staff are more interested in clicking through their system than explaining costs and benefits, leaving customers dazed and confused by industry jargon. A "deal" that starts at $149 for 2 pairs can balloon to over $500. Their business model preys on the uninformed
Avoid them – in my experience, my previous optometrist in downtown Toronto ended up being a better and cheaper experience. They took their time to explain the options and did not feel pushy in racking up the bill.

I am so happy with the efficient and helpful service I received when purchasing my two new pairs of glasses! They came with all the bells and whistles and yet cost me less than my last single pair of glasses elsewhere. I love the look and feel of them and they are working great! The glass cases are not fancy however I received along with the cases a cleaning cloth and glass cleaner. This is an excellent place to buy your glasses and I will continue to recommend them to others.

Had a great experience here, Basileia was patient, gave me space to choose my own frames, but then helped walk me through the process of finding exactly all the features I wanted for the lowest possible price, explained all of the possible charges, and didn’t put pressure for the up charges, just explained them well. She took extra time offering the options that I wouldn’t have thought of, that didn’t cost extra and was patient when direct billing the insurance was a bit of a hassle. Lovely experience - for $269 for 2 pairs of prescription glasses, with coating, 1 of them polarized sunglasses…. I’m content with that.
