Disheartening Experience at Aries Clinic

I had high hopes when I found Aries Clinic and was excited to finally have a family doctor. Unfortunately, my experience has been nothing but frustrating and disheartening.

The receptionist, particularly the Nigerian woman, has been extremely unprofessional, rude, and mean. My sister called the clinic after waiting months for her blood work results, only to find out they were already in and that she needed to see the doctor for some concerning findings. Naturally, my sister was frustrated and expressed her disappointment, as the delay was impacting her health. Instead of providing support or even basic courtesy, the receptionist attacked her over the phone, shouting and speaking in an unacceptable manner.

To make matters worse, mistakes were repeated. No appointment was scheduled, and the results were sent to the wrong person. When my sister tried calling again to follow up, she was met with no answers or accountability.

Today’s experience was even worse. The same receptionist physically pushed my sister for reasons unknown. When we brought this unacceptable behavior to the doctor’s attention, he showed no concern whatsoever, acting as if this kind of behavior was normal and part of their daily communication tactics. This was appalling, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable.

The issues don’t end there. The entire clinic staff, including the doctor, appear uninterested in patient care. Updates on health concerns take forever, assessments are superficial, and the overall attitude is dismissive and unkind. It feels as though patients are an inconvenience rather than people seeking care.

As healthcare workers, I understand the job can be demanding, but that doesn’t excuse pushing patients aside, being rude, or harassing them. Patients deserve respect, care, and professionalism—none of which I have experienced here.

I cannot recommend this clinic to anyone. My family and I have never had a positive experience here, and it’s heartbreaking to see such a lack of care and organization in a place meant to help people. I hope the clinic takes these concerns seriously and provides proper training to its staff, particularly the receptionist. This behavior is unacceptable and needs to change immediately.

Dr Malik is a great doctor. He is professional, knowledgeable, and doesn't waste any time running the tests needed to confirm a diagnosis. If I was rating him alone this would be a five-star rating. His staff, however, are horrendous. One in particular is so nasty it borders on insulting. I have heard this individual on the telephone with patients and it's very disrespectful.

Horrid staff, incompetent doctors that can’t even refer me to specialists. I booked an appointment - something that could have been a phone call but I had to go in. Upon arriving for my 4:00 appointment early on Friday after driving half hour, THE DOOR WAS CLOSED! I knocked, check the hours and they should be open. I even had an appointment booked at this time! No one called me to tell me that they are away or anything. Absolutely no consideration for patients time here. Their answering machine is full and I cannot even call them. This is the worst doctors office I’ve ever been to.

It’s located on the 3rd floor and masks are mandatory as of Aug 2022. So don’t forget to wear your mask and they don’t provide any masks. Dr. Malik was very professional, knowledgeable and spends enough time to understand. They are accepting new patients. Although our experience was good but we had to wait 1hour although we had taken a prior appointment.

I have been coming to this clinic since 2021. With each passing month the waiting time is increasing. This time I got sick I waited and hopes for 2 weeks that the bug will auto pass, waited for 2 weeks and stayed sick without medication since I absolutely HATE coming in to see doctor Malik since the wait time is soooo long. I need to take a sick day to get an appointment.

I have tried getting a new family doctor but everyone around my home has a wait list and the consultation provided by Dr Malik is good.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND COMING TO THIS CLINIC. Unless you have the full day to sit in the waiting room.

P.s. this time around I saw people going back home because they were so sick of just sitting around in the waiting room. Sad state of affairs.

I will give them 4 stars only because of the receptionist staff , as im pregnant i want to get RSV vaccine i call them the lady sitting on front desk said that theRSV vaccine from Doctor Esosa is not available currently whenever they get it they will call me , and today i got call from her , she is too humble and polite to me , i wish her the better luck for life , because i didn't expect that she will call me as it was more than a 3 or 4 weeks since i call her , may b it is because of my bad experience with other clinics that they are so irresponsible but i really like her service as she is doing here work sincerely ,thank you for taking my concerns seriously.🙏🙏

Dr. Malik has been my family doctor for approximately 8 years. If have nothing but respect and admiration for his medical skills. He is thorough and dedicates the time he needs to make you feel like a valued patient. I don’t live in the Brampton area but I have no issues taking the travel time it takes regardless and will continue to do so. He has also accepted my wife as a patient and she shares my appreciation.

Giving them 2 star because the clinic was clean and neat but they are not taking any walk-in. So please do make appointment before going here.
As of 5 march 2024 they refused to take walk in patients.
