One staff member has undid YEARS of trust-building with a dentist.

I suffer from dentist phobia and haven't visited a dentist in decades. A few years ago, I finally went in and met this fantastic dentist named Bob. At that time, He and the staff helped me feel like I could go without any worry. This lasted years. Then, the other day, when I was confiding in one of the staff over the phone about a struggle I was having mentally because they cancelled my appointment without my consent, I told them that I had already gone through some severe events days before and how this dentist appointment was the one thing I was looking forward to so I could tend to a few minor cavities. To make this short, after they cancelled my appointment that I had waited MONTHS for, they called the police and made up a story about me wanting to commit suicide. I told the staff member that I had just gone through an event a few days before and needed this appointment with Bob because he was the only one who had helped me, and I needed my teeth fixed. I now can't find the strength to make a new appointment (They're booking for March/April now), and I already have to wait. They owe me an apology, and I expect them to ask me to come in immediately to see Bob and make up for their mistake. I have suffered enough. To embarrass me by sending the police to "check on me" was a line the staff member should have never crossed, considering I told her it wasn't that I was going to; it was that I had needed the appointment because I needed it... especially after what I had gone through just a few days before. You know my number; let's see if you've genuinely made a mistake and will apologize for it or if you deliberately tried to embarrass me.

They come on here and respond to everyone saying they are not a walk-in clinic and this is googles problem. Their website hasn’t been updated since 2021 and directly states: “Anyone can seek assistance at the Centre. We welcome community members without a family doctor, and populations who have a harder time getting access to health services in general (i.e. living in poverty, living with mental health and /or substance use, immigrant/refugee, etc.). To find out how to become a client of the Centre…” In person, instead of giving information of how to become a client, they give you a piece of paper with other walk-ins (including Great Lakes). Update your website. People will stop coming to you for help.

I’ve been going to this clinic for over 5 years. The care of the patient has gone down hill. The staff acts like they’re doing you a favour!! Got prescribed an inhaler on a Friday. It wasn’t covered and I can’t afford $125. So phoned them on Friday at 4;15 because the pharmacy didn’t let me know it wasn’t until then. I was told by receptionist that they couldn’t do anything until Monday. Phoned Monday and was told the nurse practitioner wasn’t in to Tuesday: so I’ve been without a much needed inhaler for 4 days. I actually have a doctor at this clinic so why couldn’t she help me out. Told my daughter that if I die, sue sue sue

Went for a filling little less then a month ago dentist had not done it properly and the filling was split right down the middle on the face of my k9 simply can’t eat anything like a sandwich without splitting it more so I called back to see if they could do anything at all and the receptionist wouldn’t even give me the time to speak, all for me to just ask for an appointment not even asking for any discount just wanting to see if they could help me out don’t go to them unless u want more severe problems with your teeth

This place helped me out alot. Very friendly people who care. I had a major tooth issue which the dentist fixed for me that day of my visit. I couldn't of been happier to not be in anymore pain. I think it's great that we have a place like this for the community. People love to blame others for their mistakes and misunderstandings.

I do not understand why so many clinic come up as walk in clinics when they are not able to see patients that do not have a dr. This is ridiculous and it is terrible system we have in place. People don’t always need to sit at BELLEVILLE GENERAL HOSPITAL for 10 hours because you need a prescription or a minor health issue . These clinics should not be able to list as walk-in clinic. I tar has the saddest health care program ever I have been on the waiting list for over 10 years and it is disgusting that no doctors in this area are accepting patients. Sad situation we have Shame on you Doug Ford.

Kicked me out because I was healthy. I required no medical attention for a few years, and they claim they sent letters to my address (but they forgot to add the apartment unit#, so I never received ANYTHING) and have now been informed that I am no longer a patient here. My family doctor retired and my family moved all our records/patients to here, but they're now telling me they have no records and I'm not a patient there. When I asked to be reinstated, they practically laughed in my face and said "there's an extensive waiting list" and would not reinstate me even when I told them that I had no intention of being dropped. I've never felt so unwelcome in a medical facility, they were rude and snappy when I had the audacity to ask for my records/reinstatement. I WOULD say "avoid this place" but the healthcare system is so broken that you likely have no choice. Thanks, Belleville Quinte West, for kicking out patients and losing their entire medical histories. I just hope nothing in my records become pertinent in the coming years, as my childhood records have been Thanos-snapped away along with my ability to have medical professionals talk to me or see me. Excellent work.

This medical practice is extremely unprofessional. The staff as a whole and the services there are great. I have even heard the nurses can be great ! Problem is however, I have a nurse practitioner who I feel refuses to listen and I have absolutely zero report with. I have requested a new doctor as I really don’t feel comfortable speaking with the current one and they refused. I have been misdiagnosed for years now and fear having to go in to ask for help. Upon getting severely sick and being in and out of the hospital, my nurse practitioner informed me that in order to be helped, I would have to pull myself in ( if they have appointments that day) and she would “ talk me down”. My issue is I get motion sickness and some pretty severe abdominal pain which results in dizziness and fatigue and illness for days on end. My family all suffers from very severe medical conditions with their stomach’s and besides trying to push medication and a bit of therapy, no other testing has been done. I thought when I got the call I had a doctor, things would get better. Signing up with a nurse practitioner has been the worst decision I could have made and strongly encourage you to wait for a real doctor Apposed to someone who has decided they are.
