I am an immigrant and first time pregnant, I was nervous and scared for everything, the process of hospital in Canada is totally different, also we were scared as a new parent, Heather and Darla came in my life with a big smile and everything was getting normal again, they explained us everything, helped us through the whole process, and after that too, even today they help me nurturing my baby by all the resources they have. Darla explained every single thing to me and my husband personally to achieve one of our greatest milestones, also they gave me confidence in my postpartum period and be there with me, the efforts and support provided by the whole team actually cannot be expressed in words, this place itself is a feeling. I am so grateful, I couldn't have done it without you guys.

My experience here probably would have probably been different if I chose to go with them to continue my pregnancy but that was not the case. I was in need of an abortion and was hoping they would help. It was during the holiday break and none of the centres were open, but this centre had a text line to reach out for information. Firstly, they were very spotty with communication. Someone would reply back after a day of my reaching out to them and when I replied, it took them a few days to get back to me. Secondly, I was informed from the first message from them that they didn’t perform the abortions but they could make me an appointment to discuss. I said yes I would like an appointment, and I asked if they didn’t perform the abortions, who did? Well they told me in response that I need to speak with my family doctor. I don’t know what their agenda is, but I’m going back home to Oshawa where I CAN get it done without any bias from the professionals.

My experience with the center begins around 11 years ago when I had my first baby. I was alone, scared and unsure i could be a parent. The women there nurtured me, cried with me and helped me come to my own conclusion. Over the years, even when my baby was no longer a baby they were there for me as a mom.
When I tried to get pregnant again and had infertility issues, they were there for me. When I got pregnant they celebrated with me. Now I have another beautiful baby and they are always there. They love each and every individual that walks through the door.
I am thankful every day for the pregnancy and family care center.

I found out I was pregnant with both my babies here. Everyone was supportive, caring, loving and informative. They were quick to offer me resources and let me know they are there for me if I needed their support. I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs assistance throughout their pregnancy.

I visit today at this place and got so much help. This place is doing amazing job by providing all the stuff for babies for free to support families. I am actually impress by their service and humble behaviour. They are so Welcoming everyone. Lets also support them by doing donations❤️
