The care given to my wife during her stay the last couple of years has been nothing short of amazing. Even as she passed away the staff went over and above, not just with my wife but to my daughter and I as well. I could not imagine a place with better care and love shown anywhere.

The management and staff are the very best here. They are doing a wonderful job in this not for profit LTC. My Mom is always clean and well fed. They have activities for those capable of joining in. Outdoor music when the is better weather. The staff have been dealing with covid on the fronts lines for close to two years with no outbreaks or cases. Bravo. After this duration they still remain in good spirits and are always helpful. Great team. 👍

January 28, 2023, an update from my review three years ago.
Belmont continues to test daily for COVID all who enter their facility, staff, essential caregivers and visitors are masked to ensure best practices. Currently, the dining rooms are undergoing a light renovation to improve the cleanliness, food safety and appearance. The daily social programmes are lively events for the residents. Large screen TV in the lounges always have movies, music or church service on Sundays. My gratitude continues to grow for the professionalism and positive attitude for the difficult job all staff have in caring for our frail elderly. I've never regretted having our darling mother in their home. Belmont LTC is a newer LTC facility in Belleville. It looks and feels less like a nursing home and more like a well run hotel.
The owner continues to refresh the building by (this year) adding in a huge fish tank, monitors showing images of the residents having fun, new flooring, additional music in the lobbies and comfortable hotel style seating in the main lobby.
The parrots in the lobby are particularly funny and the cats running Streamway section show the staff who's boss!
Chef's meals, especially at dinner always smell like home.
The staff, of course, are the stars as they show their devotion daily to their residents.
I'm grateful my mother lives there.

The owner David Clegg and administrator Denise Mackey are more concerned with profits then the safety of its staff and residents. This is a "for profit" private business with government funding. They have had multiple covid outbreaks funny enough not untill after they fired their vaccine free staff. Yes covid is a difficult time but there is no excuse for negligence!

TO all the healthcare providers at Belmont LTC thank you so much for looking after my mom and all the other residents .The place is very well kept and clean and amazing menus according to my mom .I'm so glad of making the right decision of leaving her in your care .....thank you 🙂🙂😍😍😍

Very professional and caring staff.
The building and facilities are a little dated and not as elaborate as some of the newer ones but the staff more than make up for that.
