My mother just stayed at Chartwell Retirement Residence in Belleville, Ontario for just under a month for respite to allow my husband and me to take a vacation. From the first contact to her departure today, we were all made to feel very comfortable and extremely welcome. The staff from the management to all the employees are very professional. Coming from a long Hospitality career, I applaud them for their care, sensitivity and positive attitude. The room, activities, food and her table mates made her stay very comfortable and enjoyable, for which we are grateful. We would not hesitate in recommending Chartwell Bayview Retirement Residence to other families.

I stayed here for a week following surgery and needed 24/7 for a week. What a great experience. The suite was perfect for my needs and had all of the amenities I required. Three meals a day of good, healthy choices were great.
The staff is what I will remember for their personal, caring interactions. From Andi and Brett to Sandra, Julie, Olivia, Darlene, Lindsay and Garrett, it was such a pleasure to see the professionalism and caring making my week long stay feel like spending time with family.

As a contractor who regularly visits this Retirement Community for work, I have to say it is top-notch. The home is always clean and smells great and this includes the great food. The staff and managers are always pleasant and inviting. The grounds are always well cared for and the attention to detail is spot on. When my mom gets to the retirement age, The Bayview will definitely be on our short list of potential homes.

Bayview Chartwell is a great place. When mom arrived they were very helpful getting her settled. The staff are very friendly and know their jobs well. Any questions or concerns were answered promptly. Mom enjoyed staying there and of course had her favourite girls.

My Grandmother was recently a resident at Bayview, and she absolutely loved her stay. Everything from the meals to programs and activities she thoroughly enjoyed. I would come to visit her 1-2 times a week and was always impressed with how clean and put together the home is. Both the dinning room and common areas were spacious and inviting. Lots of windows with a view of the bay, as well as a beautiful garden and outside sitting area. The staff are helpful and kind, and interactions always very pleasant. I never had to worry about my Grandmothers care or happiness while at Bayview! Which I was extremely grateful for and I was highly recommend Chartwell Bayview Retirement Residence to anyone looking for a quality home.
