I had a bad experience here one day when I went in to inquire about one of my accounts. The teller brought an advisor from the back who started talking super loud and announcing my business to the whole bank aggressively. No confidentiality provided to clients and very rude/loud yelling…

I am dissapointed with the new changes coming in September regarding the simply free account i have been a member for 15 years and its always been unlimited debit transactions and Etransfers. Why is it now costing 1.50 for transactions through 13 to 18. I cant afford to nesecarily be spending that maxium amount of 9$ per month considering i use my card and interac etransfer multiple times a month more then i can keep count. There must be another alternative to have it unlimited number of free transactions. Or be grandfathered into my current simply free account and only have it change for new members mind you i am on disability so my funds are extremely limited there has to be some exceptions and flexibility. After its been simply free and unlimited for years

Ahhh the credit union, the forward thinking and friendlier alternative to a bank.
They still pay low interest and charge high interest though. It's quite a spread.
I think what the country needs is financial co-op's that are not for profit.
These guys are pretty nice, so perhaps give them a try.

Genuinely enjoy banking here. Just switched to the free chequing account and left TD bank. I like it much better here, my advisor was professional and informative. I even received a phone call a few days ago just to see if i was enjoying my banking experience and if i had any questions. Very kind staff and a simple, free, awesome account options. Thanks!

I switched banking at Scotiabank over to Envision over a year ago and I'm so glad I did! I was charged over $10 at Scotiabank for their checking account and upon switching, I had no fees on my checking account here at Envision. My advisor Ashley, offered me an overdraft for my account as well which is a $2 monthly fee whereas at Scotia, it was $5. With my account here, I have free etransfers which is so nice as I'm able to send funds to family and businesses without paying fees added onto what I'm sending. The staff are so helpful when I have questions. I find some of their seminars so helpful -- I went to one about retirement and even though I'm in my 20's, I still found this seminar really helpful for my future. The mobile app is really easy to use and I found that naming my accounts online has helped me stay organized with my money. I recommend envision -- I feel like a valued member and not just a number.
