This rating is regarding the reception desk. I have had my doctor at this clinic for 25 years and she is fantastic but the reception desk needs to learn how to deal with patients in a professional manner. Some of the individuals working the desk are not helpful, compassionate or kind. Hopefully the doctors in this office building will make some changes to ensure their patients are in good hands regarding appointment bookings and follow up calls. I will be visiting the office to file a complaint regarding how my follow up call was handled on Sept 24 at this office.

The reception tends to be very rude. This is on the phone or even going to an appointment scheduled or walk-ins. The doctors are alright but unless you have a preferred preference ex; if you’re a female and need to see a female gyno you should! One of the male doctors advised me to got the iud instead of the pills when I asked for a replacement birth control, I went with my sister at the time and she immediately told me to reconsider. I’m not sure what they get out of it but after asking my mother the copper iud is mostly meant for women who’ve already went through child birth, because it can be extremely painful, so I’m assuming that he recommended it for a slightly bigger pay check.

If I could rate this clinic with negative stars I would. I've experienced nothing but problems with them. Throughout the pandemic the doctor refused to see me in person for issues that needed PHYSICAL attention. Eg 1) Weeks of pain and antibiotics not working finally resulted in me going to the ER to find that my intense ear pain was muscular and not an infection - something that would have been evident had someone seen me in person. That is 3 weeks on unnecessary antibiotics. Additionally, every specialist I have been referred to has been AWFUL. Eg 2)The doctor referred me to a specialist that was not taking patentes and the clinic refused to follow up for me stating that it was my responsibility to do so. I finally asked a family friend who is also a doctor to call on my behalf because they refused to speak to patients directly and FINALLY I got an answer stating that they're no longer accepting patients and that my file was basically in limbo.

They fail to communicate well and cancelled my appointment when I was 10 minutes late. No call to see if I was still coming - I was stuck in traffic due to the weather - yet they'll let you wait for hours if they're behind schedule.

10/10 would absolutely not reccomend. I will be looking for a new family doctor.

Dr. Vaidyanathan and his staff are simply amazing. I have received prompt, compassionate and excellent treatment over the years. His experience, knowledge and genuine care reflects in each visit and I simply cannot imagine having anyone else as my family doctor. Cannot recommend him enough!

Drs are good however time management is an issue, If you make an appointment then they should be more on schedule. Receptionists are good but when it comes to having documents faxed or received from tests they always seem to go astray, which isn't acceptable if it is time sensitive. Spoke to management about it but didn't get much feedback from him other than they are working on solving this issue. He even avoid me when I said I would like to speak to him in person...They should be looking for a new office manager.

Dr Vaidyanathan is very efficient and knowledgeable in his field. I have seen him twice and couldn't stop writing a review for him. Very thorough with his work and explains every treatment procedure nicely.Takes us right on time for the appointments. Would highly recommend Dr V to any one who is looking for a physician.

I have lived in all provinces within Canada due to work and I must say DR SHANKAR V. is one of the Besttttt doctors you could ever ever find in this country. Very helpful, professional, polite and so on. Me and my family had to visit him a few times in Brampton Ontario and he took care of us like his own family. We will definitely recommend him for sure.

All the 1 stars aren’t giving enough of a reason to do as so. I have been seeing dr. Beard since I was born, 25 years straight with this amazing doctor, my mom went too her and took me too. I would never consider another doctors office. You need workups ? Done
You need referrals? Done
You need paperwork or forms filled out for work, WSIB, immunization ? Done
They are efficient at what they do but not everyone works in the medical field so of course from the outside looking in you see rudeness- I see dedication and focused nurses and receptionists dealing with 4 calls and email plus you standing over them tapping your health card like the impatient patient you are being. You booked a doctors appointment , you should know there is a wait... I’ve never had to wait longer than 15mins past my appointment time and it’s not like they take that 15 mins away from your appointment time so be patient and really understand what you are seeing before you judge! They have actually renovated the office it’s not drab or gross it’s ,just, an office🤷🏼‍♀️if you want to see wait times lessen then don’t carry on about other things in the appointment, be aware of what you’re there for so you can have it attended to. One thing, if there’s many issues tell them so they can book an appropriate length of time or make a note of such. Be the type of patient you want others to be! It’s a good place if you really consider the service and efficiency of the property- Labs and xrays on site, physio around the corner ? Fab.
