after YEARS of this man being my family doctor i’m so sadden to say that he is not what he used to be at all and that i will absolutely be switch doctors after this weekend.

2023 i experienced concerns with him surrounding how he went about accessing my daughter after she was born and had to do her monthly to weekly check in’s with him. within 3 months i switched her family doctor and thank god cause he was trying to medicate my newborn child for something that did NOT need antibiotics, it was just a common side effect most babies have that didn’t require intervention. but kpogo didn’t know otherwise he never even looked at her issues i voiced, he just wrote prescriptions while his back was turned to us the whole time i talked without looking at what i was worried about. thankfully my mom gut told me not to give her the meds. later her new doctor confirmed i indeed did the right thing getting a second opinion before using the medication. what would’ve happen to my baby if i listened to kpogos in proper directions?

now we’re 2025 and now i will also be switching doctors after this weekend. i went to dr. kpogo at the night clinic this week and he diagnosed me with 2 problems after looking at the issue i brought up for maybe 30 seconds (which i had to ask him in a begging way almost to look at because he was going off my self diagnoses at first and giving me meds for something i wasn’t actually sure i had), he diagnosed me with 2 things, i spend $50 on medications (thankfully they were 50% covered by my insurance), then the next day, complete chaos. im bleeding for 6 hours from the issue and it won’t stop. i call 811 they tell me go to the hospital of course but thank god i did. i just so happened to be seen by my daughters new family doctor there, within 10 seconds of looking he knew EXACTLY what my problem was and acted fast. turns out i had a massive abscess that was causing a serious infection across my whole body. i explained my previous doctors visit with kpogo, man he was discouraged. he told me dear you should’ve been to urgent care days ago.

long story short, kpogo just wants to write prescriptions over figuring out what your real problems are, this access is costing me $4 to treat now with the antibiotic i needed, i’m $50 down because i was misdiagnosed and went and bought medication i didn’t even need. i was sent home with serious health problems that could have hospitalized me worse then what i was last night. i’m so discouraged. i used to love this man as my doctor. now i just don’t know.

Plus when booking appointments by phone could they please inform patients of their office location..second time we gone to a location and his office has relocated.

June 19th, 24. Takes a long time getting anything done! Your always wrong and he never listens and it doesn't matter the amounts of trips you make, it takes a long time for anything to get done. I'm now looking for a new doctor!!! I've been patient of his for 6 yrs and I'm done!!

Today is August 31. My consult with him was July 27. I called his office today to inquire as to why I haven't received a call from the specialist yet. The lady on the phone says the letter went out on the 6th after I told her it has been 5 weeks since I saw him. I stuck to point saying I'm concerned for my health (possibly something not really good growing inside me), she just focused on the fact that someone was complaining about their service and stayed in defence mode, self rightious nasal voice and all (I have a recording of the call). She implied it hadn't been 5 weeks then when she realized it has been she began making excuses about why it took 10 days to send the letter including, "there was a weekend in there", to which I replied, "ok, 8 days" her reply to that, this is a doozy, "it was a long weekend"! When I asked them to call the specialist to help expedite things she mocked me by saying in that nasal voice " you expect me to call the special office" Duh!!!
Throughout this call I was cordial, non agressive, low voice, and yet she accuses me of having attitude? So not being happy about the abhorrent service recieved and diplomatically expressing my concern to them gets you hung up on?
As for his demeanor. Oh my gaaaawwd! How does horrible sound! Totally late, as per his reputation, cranky and completely disinterested, he actually rolled his eyes at me, and was visibly miffed when I brought up my second medical issue. They make more if you make another appointment for the second issue but have to treat the second or third or fourth whether they like it or not! I was in there for all of 2 minutes and he didn't look at me once!
This dude seriously thinks he's better than you! It is palpable!
Seriously stay away from these horrible people!
Update: so it turns out that the reason I didn't receive a call from the specialist was because pkogo didn't send them the correct medical concern?! He sent the secone low concern issue This guy is a totally incompetent douche! I actually think he did it on purpose out of spite! He's that douchie!
