Very nice sport complex. Plenty of parking and a safe drop off spot for younger kids around back. Indoor pool, walking track, basketball court and office/ meeting rooms. The big rink is great for watching hockey and all the change rooms are large with lots of room. There is a cafeteria as well.

My wife and I lane swim here twice weekly. The pool is the best in the area. It's clean, the staff are friendly, and the online reservation system is easy to use. Prices are very affordable. We also have used the family swim program. This is a well used facility with the arenas, gym, pool, indoor track and other rooms. Often, the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre will host trade shows which are well run and well attended. I cannot say enough good things about the Centre. We are lucky to have such a superior facility in our area!

Honestly love taking my kid here to swim but the old guy today who was watching the family swim def made it un fun for a lot of people. Told a 5 foot young boy who was swimming in 3 feet of water holding a floaty that his mom had to be close to him. Told my nephew to take a swim test to play in the kiddie pool (he is a great swimmer) told my step son to wear a life jacket without even doing the “swim test”… went around telling parents to watch their kids or stay closer to their kids as if they weren’t doing that already … you do realize people come to have fun eh? Didn’t even give him a chance to say anything more negative to me .. just interrupted him and said “yep I get it we are fine here , thanks” I’d say retire you miserable old man.

Excellent sports complex with several hockey arenas, pool, full gym, indoor track (running and walking), and workout room. Not being from Belleville I was left quite impressed, as my weekend stay only let me see a small part of the whole centre.

I have a serious love/hate for the Wellness Centre, it is a great resource for our community HOWEVER, it is usually disgusting - especially change rooms.
Pool issues - the therapy pool gets to full and dirty with bandaides and particles floating in it - I suspect I got folliculitis on my arms from this pool.
cigarette butts all over the outside of the building as well.
- Time slots for activities are RIDICULOUS - why is public skating at 10am on a tuesday?(or whatever dumb weekday they pick) who is taking their child out of school for this?
- PRICE - I used to be able to purchase 10swims for $25, then they raised the prices so it cost my family of 3 $14 to swim for 55min/1hr or 1hr20mim - obvi the 1hr20min is the best value but again it is usually tues/thurs night 7:30pm to 8:55pm...
dumb dumb time slots
and while I understand the reasons for price increases at least ask your community what you can do to help - like how about 6:45pm start times on weekdays and more sat/sun options
- I understand that hockey is the be all and end all of our ice time but if you dont want us peasants using the ice then stop offering these shit skate times.
- Skate sharpening is always "broken" and the little food cafe takes 10min+ to make you a bag of popcorn (but it is the BEST popcorn)
Showers - either ice bath or skin melting hot (like why?)
Bathing suit spinners are absent so you leave with soaking wet items - even after wringing them out they still drip.
Just so many tiny shitty little things that can ruin the whole experience.
If the YMCA Belleville had a pool like the YMCA in Trenton I would never return to the Wellness Centre honestly.

This is just your typical arena. However, the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. One of the bathrooms had a toilet paper roll on the floor and one sitting on the back of the toilet! I can only imagine how much bacteria they had on them and left there for people to use. I'm sure young girl how don't know better did use them.

They take your money for swim lessons then refuse to provide proper swim instruction. The high-school swim.team takes priority of the pools and those paying for swim lessons are told to bad. Then they fail your child becaus3 they didn't complete the required lesson materials, due to not being given the pool to do so, and make you pay for it again. Aquatics director is rude and uncaring, makes false promises... Will never ever use them again and will tell everyone I know not to bother.
