I’m disappointed in the quality and appeal of the meals provided by Real Food for Real Kids. Based on my observations, many children seem uninterested in the food, and the overall taste appears to be lacking. For example, bananas are often sent under-ripe and mostly green, which isn’t ideal for young children. For a catering company focused on children’s nutrition, I would expect more flavorful options and a system that allows for extra servings when needed. This feedback is offered respectfully and with the hope that it will be taken into consideration to improve the program for the children it serves.

We love RFRK! They cater my daughters daycare and we feel so good about the food that is being served. The variety is amazing and, more importantly, so is the quality. They pay attention to where the ingredients come from (local farms) and make an effort to ensure that all meals are nutrient dense. As if it couldn't get any better, they started posting some of their most popular recipes online so that we can recreate them at home. Thank you RFRK for taking such great care of our kids!

My team at Chris Hadfield public school have been so impressed with Real Food for Real Kids! The variety of food options is incredible there’s something for every child, and it’s all nutritious and kid approved! What really stands out is how seriously they take food allergies. The team goes above and beyond to ensure every child’s needs are safely and thoughtfully met. One of our favourite touches is the special themed snacks they send out for holidays, like gingerbread at Christmas and strawberries served with chocolate cookies on Valentine’s Day. It’s such a simple but meaningful way to bring festive fun to the kids.
A special shoutout to our experience coordinator, Janice. She’s always friendly, helpful, and professional. Her communication and support make everything run smoothly. Highly recommend!

The childcare center I work for uses Real Food for Real Kids! The customer service is always wonderful. Janice is wonderful to speak with and will take all concerns seriously. She follows up in a timely manner and seeks clarity when needed. The children at my center wish that there was more variety in the menu. I also must send a shout out to the delivery drivers who bring our food to the center. Through rain or snow we always can count on them! They are friendly to chat with and it’s always lovely to see them.

They are really thoughtful and attentive to food allergies and try to make many of their meals inclusive. I've called multiple times for clarification and with questions.
