Dr Marazzi , Dr Johnson et al , are extremely professional and skilled diagnostically . They have cared for us and our now adult children since 2007 . We are fortunate to have such a team of diligent , compassionate and ethical medical professionals in our community . They advocate and have saved our lives on more than one occasion with accurate referrals and informed , prompt, medical decisions We are very thankful for Dr Marazzi and his respectful , kind admin team .

I saw my GP in person for the first time in five years. Normally, I just have to reserve a Telehealth appointment to discuss test results and/or request a 3-month prescription extension (faxed to my pharmacy).

This review is not about the doctors, but about the support staff. My husband had to get his blood test, but the requision was not sent to the lab, though tge doctor said it would be sent right away ( 8.20 am, Friday before the long weekend). So my husband went to the lab after the long weekend, but the requision was not there. He had to call the Cedar Care Clinic and find out what's going on.
And this situation is not the only one. It happened few times . Bad, really bad service.

Awful. Was told I needed an emergency consult with an opthamologist. Despite updating my info with the girl that was going to try and get me a referral, found out the next day that all she did was fax a form to them with the wrong phone number. Apparently they would have seen me that same afternoon, but couldn't get in touch with me nor the clinic despite several attempts. Have been instructed to bypass the clinic and do it through my optometrist. A day is a huge difference when you are concerned about eye damage! Beyond frustrated!

I took my 6-year-old in this morning with a fever, pain, and crying, as when you search online it says Cedar Care is walk-in. We were the first people there and they turned us away, and said we could try emergency. No one had a moment to check on a sick kid when we were the first people there? So upsetting and frustrating. Why does Mission not have a walk-in clinic to care for the community? No wonder emergency rooms are clogged. Such a fail.

Cedar Care -- you absolutely need to change your online presence to remove "walk-in" because it is misleading to people as we search for care. The medical admin said that's not possible, but as someone who works on websites, it's very much possible. You need someone on the back-end of the website changing your Meta description that pops up when people search.

Doctors themselves are great but the support staff is horrible.
I called to book an appointment for my children the following week. Two days letter I receive a call from the clinic saying our doctor is on vacation that week and they will book me for two weeks later.
On the morning of my new appointment date (appointment was for 9:00 am) the clinic calls at 7:30 am to tell me the doctor changed his shift and will not be in until 9:30 am therefore I have to re-book my appointment. No, they would not let me come in at 9:30 as someone else was booked at that time. No, the doctor could not squeeze me in. No, the other appointments would not be shifted to accommodate me. I had booked the morning off work to do this. Not only was it very inconvenient to be told my appointment is cancelled the morning of the appointment, the staff member was also very rude to me. The staff member did not care that we have been waiting to get in for over 3 weeks. The staff member did not care that my daughter has some serious health issues we are trying to diagnose. Overall, great doctors who really care about their patients. Staff will make you feel rude and dis-respected every time you deal with them. And just because you have an appointment does not mean you will get to see a doctor. Apparently the clinic has no cancellation policy when it comes to patients.

Dr. Yokoyama has been my doctor for several years. He is attentive, thorough and responsive. He takes quick action when needed and has nothing but the best of intent in providing quality healthcare and referrals. Our health care system is stretched beyond measure operating in crisis mode 24/7 and yet Dr. Yokoyama and his staff continue to provide the best of care regardless. His staff are always pleasant and helpful. I have much gratitude for this clinic, for the staff and the kind care received of both present and past. When all Canadian healthcare sits at a breaking point, this team continues to stand strong in the face of adversity. When all else fails I am thankful that I can put my faith and trust in my family doctor and his team. We are all human, we all have our days, especially when we are feeling unwell. We are not alone. Much gratitude and respect for all. Thank you for your continued service and support.

I love this clinic and Dr Yokohama. They have always treated me with great respect and have been very helpful. I now live out of town but have kept him as my GP because of this. I am surprised that there are any negative reviews at all because my experiences (and there have been a few) have always been positive.
