One of the best facilities around! We are so grateful for the care everyone gives to my uncle so shoutout to the workers in the St Vincent wing. More often than not things are very clean and workers are upbeat and friendly. I can only imagine how difficult this job would be……so Thank You!!!

Couldn't be happier with the level of care and amazing staff.

Prior to arriving at Providence my Dad had been sent to the hospital 4 times in the space of a year from his previous care home in Moose Jaw. During the period he was at Providence in St Anthony's wing, his health and overall well-being significantly improved and he had no further incidents that resulted in him going to hospital.
The staff all knew him by name and everyone was so friendly & stopped to introduce themselves and share a funny story or just say how much they enjoyed his company. My Dad loved playing guitar and one of the nurses there shared a video of them singing while he played guitar. It gave me piece of mind to know he was around people who made a genuine effort to learn about him & interact with him daily.
Big shout out to the entire team in St Anthony's ❤️

Not impressed with the care and attention to staff. My father in law was changed twice a day and when I came to help him during meal times staff was either not around or they talked over the staff never to them. One time during a meal I sat at a table for 20 mins and there were no staff in the dining area. My father in law had dementia. I noticed my first review with his picture some how was removed from Google reviews. His last week before he died it was end of Covid and we could finally go see him he had a bed sores that you could stick a finger in he had infections after infections for lack of workers. Not the workers fault it is the system. The week he was sent to the hospital before he passed. We asked for his sensory blanket. Specially made for him by his daughter. Some one removed his sensory blanket from his room and we know items get laundered there and conveniently no one on the floor saw it they said and didn’t look hard for it. How could they lack of staff to even change the resident but twice a day. I remember my father in law sitting in his dirty pants for a a couple hours while waiting his turn. The blanket had beads with his name on it. I am assuming the beads were removed. . Sad this amazing strong man had his life take early but had to suffer along the way. With out an apology for items being stolen and having him sit in his dirty pants until staff came available to change him. Employees not treating residents like people during meal times on this ward. I myself helped to feed those not being helped at my father in laws table. One girl shovelled food into one gentleman’s mouth telling him to chew. Lack of care and attention they should be better school for dementia give the jobs and purpose for there last days months years.

The day my sister passed she was found to be unresponsive at 8:30am. Her family wasn't called until 12 noon. The phone call wasnt telling us she is being sent to the hospital the phone call was if she gets worse. I went to check on her and I told them to call an ambulance.
When they checked on her at 8:30 am and found her unresponsive they shut her curtains, turned the light off, turned the tv on and shut her door.
They failed my sister!! She passed away early the next morning. Had the staff done their job and got her to the hospital sooner she may still be with us. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

Residents don't have access to the on-site physiotherapy department unless they pay for it or WCB or SGI are paying for it.
