Always late for phone appointments then would not let me ask him more than one question he wouldn't give me a pill refill for my son said I needed another appointment for that my phone dropped his call with no fault to me he called me back and told me he was not comfortable keeping me as his patient. He would not refer me to my thyroid specialist he would not refer me to get a private Mri even when I'm completely having an Ms attack has no people skill and is rude and abrupt no compassion always LATE

Dr. Perri has been my doctor for 26 years. She listens to my concerns and works with me to address my health issues. She is hands down the best doctor I’ve ever dealt with, and a lovely person as well.

I have just received a letter from Solly telling me that he no longer wishes to be my doctor. I’m disappointed that he chose to do so by letter rather than a phone call. So going forward, I now find myself in a similar situation as a lot of other Canadians, I am now looking for a new doctor. May I suggest that you please be careful when you talk or write to Solly. As at one of our seldom in office meeting he told me that I needed to respect him because he “has a high level of education”, apparently, he doesn’t want you to remind him of that when he continues to make mistakes. I had booked a phone call with him to renew my prescription, (he refuses to give me refills on his prescriptions as according to him “then the only people making money are the pharmacists). He once again phones the wrong number, (it had happened more than once). I needed to send his office an email asking why he hadn’t called me yet, it was 40 minutes past the assigned time. He then did phone the correct number, the one I had put on his site to call and I got the prescription filled. If you have ever tried to contact him you are aware how difficult it can be to connect with him. It’s even more difficult now that he only works 4 days a week. Anyway, when I got home and discovered he had indeed called the wrong number I sent his office another email expressing my frustration and asked if he billed MSP for his mistakes. A few days later his office called to make sure things had been sorted which I really appreciated. His letter arrived a week after my call with his office person, his wife I believe. In his letter he said I was rude and then he also felt obliged to remind me that there is a zero-tolerance policy for abuse in his office (seems not to apply to him when he over talks me and asks me to let him finish, then I had to remind him it was my turn to talk and for him to listen). Anyway, going forward I am now free of his controlling and intimidating behaviours. My intention in writing to him was to express my frustration at him not calling as scheduled, not to be abusive, so if I came across as abusive, I apologize as that was not my intent. When I receiver his letter I initially felt some concern as I do have some ongoing health issues that will require ongoing treatment but now, I am happy that I will no longer have a 45-minute drive to see a very self-centered doctor that demands respect. I chose to believe he is doing the best he can and that he is not being spiteful or immature in choosing to drop patients that question him. My education is in the human services industry, and I find it difficult not to question (challenge) systems and individuals that are abusive.
Is there somewhere one can write to express concerns over treatment from a doctor?

I've been seeing Dr. Perri since I was a baby and she's always been an absolute delight! I saw Dr. Gomez in office today while Dr. Perri was out of the office and he was a blessing! He listened to my concerns, explained in detail his professional opinion, and made sure I understood and was comfortable. Would highly recommend!

Phone staff do not listen. They change appointments and won't listen to what you need. I had gone there on my appointment to be told I was booked for another day. Today I had an appointment for the 13th changed for me to the 25th. I do not like the chaos. With the lack of Dr's, this place has turned into favoring walk-ins instead of a patient with them for many years. When someone has to use transit, does it make sense to make a 9:30am appointment? Unbelievable.

Went to two other clinics in Kelowna who were fully booked with virtual appointments. They told me Blue bird had an appointment today, but this clinic wants you to drive all the way to lake shore to be seen by a physician rather than virtual. Makes total sense. 🤦‍♀️
The only reason I'm giving this clinic 2 stars is because the receptionist was very kind and helpful.

Dr. Elizabeth Perri has been my family doctor since I was a child. She is caring and detailed, however Dr Perri does not work full time and that does make it very difficult to get in to see her. Im sorry to report the MOAs are NOT organized, nor do I feel they really listen to your concerns, requests, or are interested in troubleshooting solutions. I have since changed Dr Offices.

If I could give this lower than a one star review I would. Dr. Solomon motsiri is arguably one of the most horrible, disrespectful and uncaring doctors I have ever had the displeasure of witnessing. Motsiri is my partner of 5 years family doctor, she has has ongoing issues with seizures for the past year now, having two different types of seizures. After having no luck with kelowna general hospital we tried as a last resort to get ahold of motsiri thinking he might care to try and help us, with absolutely no luck. He is by far the rudest doctor I have ever encountered. Not only did he see us for maybe 4-5 minutes at most, during our visit he was incredibly disrespectful and demanding of respect from both myself and my girlfriend and made comments about us not allowing him to speak and cutting him off (which we were not) and continued on to do the same to us and not even let us get a word out or voice our concerns. On top of the high level of disrespect he told myself and my partner (that has been having seizures witnessed by myself) that these were not real seizures she was having and that they were pseudo and psychologically caused by herself. After questioning his rudeness and expressing that we felt brushed off by him he then proceeded to basically kick us out of his office with some paper work for him to make a referral to a mental health doctor (completely unrelated to the issues we've been having and why we were there at all). I would highly recommend anyone considering going to this doctor to look absolutely anywhere else for help. This doctor does not care about his patients at all and will demand your respect because of his "high education" and will not return the same. Dr. Solomon Motsiri, you are a sad excuse for a doctor.
