I spent 8 hours at the emergency for my child. All the people from the receptionist, nurses and the surgeon were extremely kind, efficient and professional. They made our visit and stay very comfortable and provided my son the best treatment. This hospital is the best!

Today was a great day until I entered the psychiatry dept to meet Dr.Johnson who was to be my new psychiatrist. By the time I left her office this new psychiatrist had sent me into a manic episode ... threatened that she would have to call someone as she felt her safety was being jeopardized! Are you kidding! At that point I left! Its obvious that this "new" psychiatrist cannot see or understand mental illness, does not understand the meaning of respect or trust that a patient & psychiatrist MUST HAVE! Nor does she SEE OR UNDERSTAND the signs of a manic episode (that she herself created) nor how to deal with a manic episode. I for one could not possibly trust a so called professional to handle my mental health issues when she resorts to threats.
Perhaps Revelstoke Hospital should screen their Doctors more thoroughly to ensure the SAFETY OF THEIR PATIENTS!
Dr. Johnson is DEFINITELY not qualified to handle those during a mental health episode nor is she capable of dealing with them nor assuring thwir safety.

Went to hospital in evening after a snowmobiling incident. I Was helped immediately by nurse and welcomed in. Dr Haines was very nice and informative. She checked my injury and ordered an x-ray and within minutes the X-ray tech wheeled me down to the X-ray room. Went in at 9:00pm. And out by 10:00. Very friendly and helpful people. If your planning on severely spraining your ankle I would suggest do it in the quant little town of Revelstoke British Columbia. You won’t be disappointed!!!

One of the best hospitals I have ever been too. Dr. Hunt was fantastic to deal with and got me in and out of there fast plus treated the pain I was experiencing.

I just want to say that I’ve never been in such good hands as I have with the Revelstoke Hospital. I was in extreme pain and they got right down to solving the problem and making me feel comfortable. I wish there was something more I could do or say to show my appreciation. You’re amazing thank you again.

I went in for a colonoscopy. The staff was very caring and professional. Doctor Haines is fantastic, very informative and highly skilled. She made the colonoscopy a surprisingly easy experience.

spent 8 hours in emergency there last saturday, what an awesome place, every person i spoke with from the front door to the medical team in emergency were some of the most knowledgeable people i ever came across, efficient and friendly willing waiting to help, spectacular bunch, thank you all from the bottom of my heart
