Staff are great and nice. Logistics terrible! I booked an appointment 3 weeks in advance. Came a bit early for my appointment. Waited in a line for 25 minutes that didn’t move at all. Had to leave before getting work done to make it to work in time. Waste of time. Why book an appointment? Did no good. Try booking your appointments at a different location.

Staff were doing the best with what they were working with. Appointments didn't matter because they were understaffed. No good communication system for staff to know who should be called next. I arrived early and was seen 35 minutes after my appointment time. Waiting room is not big enough for patrons. Ppl need to hang in the hall without knowing if they should check in or not. Ppl who came back with urine containers were asked to get back into the line. Not sure everyone would have gone home with the task to come back if they had known that.

Anyone with anxiety could find this atmosphere as stressful and effect blood pressure readings....🫤

Please fix this system. Also parking signage in a Google review says paid parking in the lot, but the fee is blanked out to indicate no fee parking.

I am delighted to recommend this clinic. They work hard to accommodate all patients, whether they walk in or have a scheduled appointment. As a walk-in patient, I understand how long the wait can be. I am very thankful to Maribel and all the staff for their helpfulness, as well as to Ellenberg and the person who processed my application. God bless you all, and keep up the great work helping people!

UPDATE: Went back again today. I went earlier in the morning. I had a pleasant experience. Everyone was great and they took care with me. I’ve added two stars.

This location is so dirty. The person taking my blood didn’t switch out their gloves after wiping up some old blood. The gloves also looked like they had been wearing them all day. I just ended up leaving without getting blood taken. Things like this shouldn’t happen and usually happen because there are not enough staff on. They are obviously pushing too many people through here. The wait times are also long even after making an appointment. I would go back because other options are low but I will be watching them like a hawk. They are stretched very thin there. My guess is that all lifelabs are like this.

Given the volume of bad reviews talking about rude staff, I had my expectations set very low and was ready to chime in if I experienced less than bare-minimum efficient competence.

I was pleasantly surprised - incredibly fast, efficient, and all staff I interacted with were not just polite but really friendly.

Couldn't help but notice that a notable proportion of the recent negative reviews make a point of the staff's ethnicity. Interesting.

The office was notably busy but not swamped on a weekday afternoon, and I did have an appointment. My guess is that if you book an appointment and/or avoid peak times and you're not racist, you'll likely have a satisfactory experience at this location.

I had a great experience at this life lab location last week. I came in the morning with no appointment and had to wait maybe an hour which was fine. The staff were kind and friendly. I like how the TV screen lists wait time so you have an idea how long you have to wait.
No complaints and for sure I will come back here if I need to in the future, thank you!

Lady at front desk with red hair is awful. Rude to the people in front of me and then when it was my turn she gets up and leaves without saying anything for 15+ minutes. I stood there so long the wait time increased by 20 minutes (was already 77 min) so I left and had to book an appointment 3 weeks out.

I wish I had at least been acknowledged as it was just me left in line and I was made to stand there for over 15 minutes.

Very rude and no respect for other people’s time.

This is the worst LifeLabs location in Vancouver and I’ve been to most of them. It’s overcrowded, lining up in the hallway is confusing, and staff are hostile towards patients. Staff are unprofessional and openly complain about their jobs in front of the waiting room. I had to have multiple vials of blood taken for my tests and the staff member rolled her eyes and acted as if this was some huge inconvenience for her, when all I’m trying to do is the tests my doctor ordered for me. Avoid this location unless you are truly desperate and have no other options.
