I don’t like to leave negative reviews but after communicating my issues with the quality of the fence that was built and not receiving an adequate response, I decided to leave a review. The wood used was splintered and damaged in some spots, there was an unusual gap between the panels and top of the fence. Once the fence was painted those defects were magnified. The communication was hit or miss, it was even a bit difficult to pay my invoice because Ian told me one thing and then the office told me another.

We hired Ian and Accurate Cedar to build a deck and extend the steps from our house to the deck. Ian showed up on time and had a quote in my hands by the end of the day. His price was much lower than the other companies we contacted and his timeline for the project was realistic. We are very happy with our new deck and we highly recommend Accurate Cedar. No customer support whatsoever. They installed fences in my backyard, but there were trees that were causing interference. Instead of finding a solution, they simply lowered the fence height, compromising our privacy and security. I reached out to them to address the problem and even offered to pay extra, but they continuously postponed the appointment and eventually stopped responding to my calls and emails. It's incredibly frustrating because now I have to search for another contractor to rectify their poor workmanship.

Quality work at reasonable prices. We recently had part of our fence replaced and we ended up working with Ian and his team. A great process from first contact until completion. Very transparent, reasonable prices and good quality wood. There was no problem to add the additional requests that arise during such a project. From the beginning to the end of the project Ian (owner) and Remy (the installation expert) were top notch. They were also flexible in changing needs to match those of both property owners. Would recommend them to anyone replacing or building a new fence.
