This residence has exceeded my expectations for a senior's residence in all aspects. This review is related to the extended care floor.The rooms are comfortable and always kept clean. The meals are very good and consistent. When my mother didn't like the offerings, the staff tried to offer her other food items to keep her happy. The staff were caring, friendly were able to deal with my mother which was not easy considering my mother's occasional personality issues. They were always there when she rang the bell to help her to the washroom or move her around . ITs almost as though she was on a cruise ship ! They even scratched her head, brushed her head and spent a little time with her. This does not happen at inexpensive government institutions. The medical staff was very competent.. always there for the family to discuss my mother's situation. We were called at home every time my mother had an incident and any issues were dealt with quickly and with compassion.
The only issue is the parking situation. Parking is available on the street and occasionally it is very difficult to park near the residence. I used the city's parking app on my phone to buy parking.. this saves time. There is always an indoor parking on Victoria which you can use.

So blessed to have placed my mother-in-law at Chateau Westmount . The staff here goes above and beyond our expectations . The environment is so beautiful and the women that run it even more beautiful. Thank you to Hanna and Zara for the warmest welcome ever. Our family is forever grateful 🙏

I would recommend this place for a long term care.
You get what you paid.
For staff as nursing aid,à néophyte could be à good start,they provide an excellent training. (Based on my learning expérience)

What we paid is not what we get. They wake up patient at 5 O'clock am for shower. The place for the activity is following apart. 1/2 of the staff is not nice. They suppose to check every hour in night time on patient they don't if they are lucky may one a night. They don't always give acurite medical report. ETC.....
