I had a great experience at Hope for Women during my first appointment. The staff was incredibly friendly, calm, and helpful, making me feel comfortable and supported. I’m truly grateful for the care and guidance they provided. It’s reassuring to have such a compassionate team available during this journey. Highly recommend their services!

The fact that this is the first thing that comes up when you search “abortion clinic Prince George” meanwhile you are NOT an abortion clinic and are in fact not a pro-choice organization (refusing to take a stance on your FAQ page AS A WOMENS PREGNANCY CENTRE is the same as being pro life), is extremely misleading and I feel this is intentional. It isn’t hard to adjust this on your google business profile, so your business will not come up when searching for abortion clinics. It says directly on your site that you do not provide abortions, nor will you even refer pregnant people to abortion clinics. Shamefully misleading if you ask me.

Such a gem in the community. I have recommended Hope for Women to a couple of women and have heard the stories of others who have received invaluable support. They offer a non-judgmental environment with all the supports a woman needs, no matter what decision she makes along the way. Their recreational ultrasounds, baby supplies and post-partum support is such a gift.“

Don’t believe the reviews about pregnancy options. Hope for Women Pregnancy Services is not open to a woman’s right to terminate a pregnancy, so if that’s something you would like to consider this is not a supportive place to do so. They have intentionally used buzzwords in their page that make this the first option to come up first when you search for abortion services in Prince George. If Hope for Women were to acknowledge in their description that they are anti-abortion (rather than saying they provide ALL options) I would change my review. Until then, I suggest that anyone who wants honest and non-biased health care disregard this service.

This is a fantastic resource to so many women in the community. They offer free, informative & non judgemental support and counselling. They also offer free maternity & baby items for any mom. Such an amazing place for women to find hope!

I never expected to be facing that I might be pregnant, one week after my 50th birthday! Joyfully married for 28 years, three kids, one miscarriage...pregnant?!?...I was terrified of the possibility. I knew of Hope for Women, and twice that week, thought I might go get a pregnancy test. Money is tight, and besides, what if someone saw me buy a pregnancy test at the pharmacy?
Then I ran into a Hope for Women staff lady outside office hours, and my fears poured out of me, verbally and in tears. My husband stood beside me, knowing my fears, but not how profoundly they weighed on me.
The next morning, he drove me to Hope for Women. There was the same lady, who listened again, tenderly, with compassion, no judgment whatsoever. I felt safe, heard, loved, and knew I wasn't alone. I knew that no matter what the outcome, they would support me.
Then came the free pregnancy test. It was negative. This might be a window into menopause?!
Doesn't matter what your story is, if you're a woman who needs support in ANY way, Hope for Women is an amazing resource in Prince George. I'm so deeply thankful for Hope for Women.

There's a reason Physicians and other medical providers don't rebuke negative reviews online; confirming whether or not someone has visited a clinic is private medical information, and such actions can cost them their license. "Advokate Life" AKA "Hope for Women" should know better than to disclose pregnancy/visit status to the public in order to score internet points over negative google reviews.

Regardless of legality, using women and their privacy as a pawn in this way is violating and disturbing. Indeed, much like the way the clinic obfuscates their "Advokate Life" visions, mission, and values. It is no wonder so many use pseudonyms to ensure their privacy is protected when seeking services or leaving reviews.

Edit: I see the owner comments sharing confidential information about clients have been removed. Good!!!

Hope for Women provides an incredible service to the women in their communities. Thank you for creating such a welcoming, non judgmental and caring environment for women and families to go to find resources and support.
