We had a wonderful experience in the maternity ward after the birth of our newborn. Dr. John Cooper was exceptional—his calm, caring approach really helped us feel supported during such an important time.

Special thanks to RN Chloe, who was a true natural—her care was so genuine, compassionate, and attentive. She went above and beyond for us, and we felt incredibly lucky to have her by our side.

RN Kelsey was also very kind and professional, always ready to help with a positive attitude. We also appreciated the support from RN Jasmine, who stepped in and was helpful during our stay.

We’re truly grateful to the whole team for making our first days with our baby feel safe and cared for.

2 year old had surgery and I had to bring my 4 year old in with me. They had a long delay for surgery and went above and beyond to keep my whole family happy. You can tell there are moms in there because they are amazing with kids. Amazing staff and volunteers!

-10 stars if that was an option. Terrible service and ridiculous wait times. Waited in the ER for 14+ hours until being seen by a doctor, although I was told I would only be waiting for 1 hour due to the severity of my condition. The er triage/ nursing staff were extremely rude. Was told I would be getting an MRI the day I arrived-was admitted to the hospital, was told by the doctor who finally saw me 2 days later that it was extremely urgent to get me in for the MRI and that it would be happening that night. 3 long days later with zero updates from anyone I’m being told “tomorrow it will happen” which is what I’ve been told since I’ve been here. How long does one have to wait for an MRI when it’s made urgent?
They wont give me Advil yet alone anything to help with the extreme pain I’ve been in.
Due to being put in a bed in the hallway- All day/ all night I’m constantly hearing the nurses on the floor bitching, complaining, being rude, belittling eachother and the patients- you can easily tell which ones are on a power trip, and which ones are ACTUALLY here to do their job.
I work in healthcare. I understand that places are understaffed, but this is beyond ridiculous. Do better.
Hopefully no one else will have to have an experience like this, although I’m sure many have already. i Will be reporting this to patient quality care, as I advise anyone who’s had a similar experience to do so as well.

I went in for a day surgery. I can't say enough about all of the staff, from the surgeon, the RNs, technicians to the porters. Unfailingly cheerful, professional and efficient. Sadly, I realize that not everyone will have the same positive experience.More funding and resources need to be put in place to support these hard working, dedicated folks.

Labor staff just wonderful! Had an amazing experience. People who actually love what they do. Everyone being so kind and helpful and nor just the nurses, doctors or other staff involved in labor itself but also the ladies who brought me meals and the blond lady that was doing the daily cleaning of the room. ♥️

So disappointed in the care. My partner was hit by a car last night and was in a lot of pain. We were there waiting for 8 hrs total, and they offered him no pain meds. He couldn’t even walk and they tried taking his wheel chair away. Put us in a storage room, then kicked us out into the hall way. No direction and nurse at the desk was very rude to me. I do want to add that the 2 doctor’s that we saw we kind and professional at least.

Terrible walk in emergency service. Super slow and only 1 doctor at night. I don’t live in Victoria but the hospital where I do live puts through 3 times as many people per hour. Won’t come back here. I’m finally leaving after 12 hours and sitting watching people go in ahead of me. I guess if they don’t think you are sick enough and shouldn’t be in emergency they just keep you at the end of the line hoping you will leave and not come back. This is what you get for free medical. Disgusting!!!
