What a great experience I had with Peninsula Lifetime Eyecare Centre. 5 Star! I was having a problem with my eyes that needed to be looked at ASAP. I phoned Peninsula Lifetime Eyecare Centre late in the afternoon and they booked me in first thing the next morning. They examined my eyes and found the problem required immediate surgery. Peninsula Lifetime Eyecare Centre team then worked hard to find a surgeon close by that would do the surgery the same day. By mid afternoon my eye was repaired with laser surgery and I was on my way home. Thank you Dr Ford and Peninsula Lifetime Eyecare Centre team

My husband lost his Maui Jim sunglasses today. He retraced his steps and found them on a shelf at the cafe, where we had just had lunch. Unfortunately, they must have fallen from where he'd hung the sunglasses on the front of his shirt and someone must have stepped on them, then put them up on the shelf. The lenses were intact, but one of the side-pieces was completely bent out of shape - making the glasses unwearable. We walked across the street right into Lifetime Eyecare in Sidney. We weren't sure if the glasses could be salvaged. Within a very short period of time, David, one of the technicians, helped us out. He carefully worked on the sunglasses and amazingly got them completely straightened out! He was so pleasant and helpful. When we asked what we owed, David said we owed nothing. What a nice surprise that was. My husband is thinking of becoming a client with this clinic, he was so impressed. Thank you, David, for all your help today!!!

Recently I went to Peninsula Lifetime Eyecare Centre to buy glasses. Gordon Van Dam greeted me with this big smile and asked to help me. Told him that I am always anxious whenever new glasses are needed because I cannot pick out the right frames. He picked out 4 pairs and I was done! Just love my new glasses. Such a nice cheerful person, and put me at ease right from the start. Even called me at home once I received my glasses to ensure I was still in love with them. Told Gordon I’m keeping these until I’m 92.

We walked in to look at lenses for both myself and my husband. An employee by the name of David helped us right away and taught us all about the correct size of lenses and helped us all the way through to purchase. We had a wonderful experience thanks to David!

A few months back, needed to replace my mother's frames but keep her existing lenses and the process was smooth and easy. Then my mother lost her glasses a month back so we needed a complete set remade for her. The staff were amazing to work with - being super flexible and considerate to the circumstances (my mother has dementia and lives in a care home). I am so grateful for all their help and amazing customer service (esp. Gord!)

Dr. Ford and the rest of the staff were so wonderful to work with, very kind and funny, knowledgeable and caring. I will never go anywhere else. The equipment seemed very up to date and the space was kept nice an clean 🙂

Came in recently for my kiddos eye exam. Everyone was extremely friendly, calm & patient in explaining the process to my daughter for her appointment.
She came out with a minor prescription and had a delightful time trying out frames for the perfect fit / style.. her glasses were even ready by the end of that afternoon!... gotta love a quick turn around.

While visiting Sidney recently I had an accident that damaged my glasses and gave the area very close to my eye a nasty cut and bruise. My glasses were so bent that they wouldn't even stay on my face properly. I went into Peninsula Lifetime Eyecare to see if they could help me and was served by a very courteous young man named David Sam.
David was very kind, professional and empathetic. He was able to straighten out my glasses and cleaned them up for me without any charge. He has a natural understanding of customer relations and I will likely go back to Peninsula Lifetime Eyecare and seek David out when I'm looking for my next pair of glasses.
