Dr. Masoud Shahrokhi was our family doctor for almost three years, and unfortunately, he was the worst experience I have ever had with a medical professional. My wife had been suffering from a medical condition, and after numerous appointments, he repeatedly ordered various blood tests but consistently refused our requests to refer her to a gynecologist.
After couple of months without receiving proper care, we sought help from another doctor here in Vancouver and also consulted a doctor in our home country. Both advised that my wife urgently needed to see a gynecologist. Despite this, Dr. Shahrokhi still refused to provide a referral. I truly do not understand why he was so insistent on not referring her to a specialist.
Eventually, we changed our family doctor. As soon as the new doctor heard my wife’s symptoms and reviewed her test results and ultrasounds, he immediately referred her not only to a gynecologist but also to a specialized clinic for further follow-up.
Additionally, whenever Dr. Shahrokhi contacted us for phone appointments, they were too short and he always seemed rushed to end the call.

I had Dr. Masoud Shahrokhi as my family doctor, and unfortunately, my experience has been far from positive. I found him to be unresponsive and dismissive of my concerns, which made it difficult to feel heard and taken care of as a patient. A good doctor should take the time to listen, provide care, and make the patient feel comfortable, but I did not feel that with Dr. Shahrokhi. I wouldn’t recommend him to others who are looking for a caring and attentive physician.

Absolutely appalling. I had an appointment at 8.40am. Arrived at that time and the whole building was locked, no lights on and even a metal gate was closed over the door. Clearly nobody there. I waited 10 minutes and still nobody turned up. I called the phone number and the automated message said 'we open at 9am'. It took me 30 minutes to get there and 30 minutes home. The worst service I have ever experienced and I would not recommend this clinic to anyone else. Even if the assistant was late arriving, the doctor should have thought to contact me or even just open the door for me.

Dr. Massoud Shahrokhi is truly one of the most experienced doctors I've encountered in my 66 years of life. His unmatched expertise and extensive experience have been invaluable to me. Without his sense of responsibility, I might have departed many years ago, leaving behind friends and loved ones. My only suggestion is that Dr. Shahrokhi engage in more conversations and laughter with his patients. Ultimately, I am profoundly thankful, from the depths of my heart, for the efforts he has invested in my care.

!!!!!WORST DOCTOR EXPERIENCE!!!!!!

I regret to say that my experience with Dr. Shahrokhi was far from satisfactory. Despite struggling with appointment scheduling for six months, my visit to his office was disheartening. Dr. Shahrokhi displayed a noticeable lack of interest and empathy throughout the appointment. He repeatedly checked his watch and seemed in a hurry to conclude our meeting. When I attempted to discuss my longstanding allergy issue, he provided a dismissive response by simply suggesting not to take vitamins. Furthermore, I had a shoulder injury, and his response was equally underwhelming, as he stated that if I could move it, there was no problem.

What was particularly frustrating was his abrupt farewell, repeatedly saying goodbye while I was still speaking, a mere seven minutes into the appointment. I strongly advise against wasting your time seeking medical care from him. I urge you to explore alternative healthcare providers who are more dedicated and attentive to their patients' needs.

I had been experiencing severe pain and numbness in my left leg, so I called Dr. Shahrokhi to request a referral to a neurologist.

My doctor, regrettably, seemed impatient and somewhat dismissive during our discussion. Instead of referring me to a neurologist, he suggested an injection into the spinal cord as a potential solution. What surprised me most was that this recommendation was made without him having ever examined me in person!!!
