Our family has experienced at least five other care homes for several family members over the last twelve years. Cartier House Care Centre may not be as large or as new as these past care homes, but what mattered to us most was the genuine, warm friendliness and respectful care that our family member received. The staff at Cartier House gave clear and consistent communication. We were always made aware of our loved one’s needs, health concerns, and the care home’s health protocols. All in all, the collective staff of Cartier House have been some of the best our family has had the pleasure of knowing.

In the years my mom has been in care at Cartier House the staff has had her care as a top priority. They keep me up to date on everything. Any fall or cold is reported immediately to me no mater how small. The staff and management work together as a team and it shows.

My mom moved into Cartier House in August 2023. I have been so impressed with her level of care. It is on the smaller side which gives it a more homey feel. The staff are friendly and caring and my mom is thriving. She has made some lovely friends, participates in activities and her overall health and wellness has improved.

My mom's move in experience at Cartier House was excellent. Everyone was welcoming and got her settled into the community quickly. They are friendly and helpful to family too. I'm pleased to see how well my mom is doing there. They deserve more than 5 stars.

Stay away from this unkept run down facility. The staff are friendly, but appear to be poorly trained. The food is inedible and prepared by an inept kitchen staff. Laundry is done in a large industrial machine that destroys any garments your loved one has. Rooms are hot in the summer and cold in the winter, because of no air conditioning and poor heating that often doesn’t work at all. Don’t know why there are so many positive reviews of this place but trust me, stay away!

All the staff and management at Cartier House are great to deal with. They care for my mom and our family and it shows. Even when dealing with my difficult family dynamics they never fail to exceed my expectations. My mom is always happy dealing with the care staff and their love and care for my mom shows.

Cartier House is a great place for seniors. My 96 years old mother is very happy and well cared for by all the nursing and multidisciplinary staff. I really appreciate their dedication, patience and professionalism towards the residents and their families. I highly recommend this place for seniors.

My mother is a long time resident of this establishment. I am most impressed with the professionalism of the entire body of staff in every department, especially nursing and rehab., that’s because my sister and I have more opportunities to work with them. To be fair, right from the greeting at the front door( don’t know what department those pleasant and polite young ladies and gentlemen belong to) to office, housekeeping and dietary, I am most grateful of the standard they are able to maintain consistently, especially during these difficulty times of Covid. As a retired mental health case manager, I know when care is delivered from one’s heart or merely an afterthought in between paychecks.
