Great Patagonia products, poor customer service. They need training, I would have spent more, but no interest in their customers. They greet you only at the cash when you check out. A small store like this can do better to serve their customers, this is a reflection of poor management.

First time back after my covid incident in 2020.. with the manager. Yelling at me because my mask wasn't completely up to my eyeballs . Makes me wonder how much money they lost because of her .

Store seems decent now , young staff were a little distracted with themselves this visit. Maybe the young girl telling an important story was work related?

Great selection, knowledgable friendly staff. I was looking for a low weight bag for backpacking. Gave them an idea of my price range and what I was looking for and was provided a variety of bags to inspect and try out. I found one that I think I will be very happy with.
Thanks Stefan!

I purchased a pair of waterproof hiking shoes before leaving for a trip across Canada. I spent three months on the road doing a lot of walking and hiking. The shoes were amazing until I went to Antigua for a month, during the time I was in Antigua my hiking shoes got wet and shrunk. They became so tight on my baby toes that I got blisters. I contacted the store owner after I was told there would not be any warranty, he went out of his way to gather more information about what happened to the shoes and what they were doing to my feet. He then contacted the manufacturer and through his diligence the manufacturer covered warranty for me. I now have a new pair of shoes that are very comfortable, I have gained total confidence in Valhalla Pure Outfitters and will continue to do more business with them. I recommend anyone wanting to purchase from this store to do so with confidence that you will be looked after. I also received a follow up email making sure I was satisfied.
Thankyou
Larry Baillie

Had my b#lls thoroughly busted trying to return a headlamp that was defective out of the box (and was previously opened). Even with a record of the sale they were hesitant to exchange it for me
It was rude and a waste of my time.

I don't really shop in-store a whole lot, and I leave reviews for businesses even less.

But whenever I get something in the mail from this place, or from another location my purchase ships out from, there's always a little handwritten note like this one.

It takes little time, and can be very few words, but it's that type of small stuff that humanizes the business and keeps me coming back.

Appreciate every one of you.

I'd like to edit my previous review, on advice on fellow hikers (50+ group).

This is very well stocked store, and you will have plenty of time to try all you are interested in, take plenty of time without being bothered. And when you decided to purchase you will know what product is right for you. You can spend an hour in the store, pulling stuff off the racks, and no one will intrude on your space or interrupt your product search. The $400 plus item I decided on is available for less else where, and like my hiking friends whom order online exclusively, I can take advantage of the savings without disturbing the local staff.

I take back my precious review and on advice off friends who have 10s of thousand of dollars of outdoor products delivered yearly, appreciate the service that is being offered here. I hope it's always available.
