It’s a wonderful service for people in need of get to out of town non emergency medical appointments. The BC government needs to step up to the plate and give this volunteer organization needed funding! No one can provide this valuable service as cost effectively as Wheels for Wellness. In their 27 years of service they have safely carried over 300,000 people in need.

I’m so very grateful for this organization.
I have great appreciation for all of the amazing volunteers that make this wonderful service available to those who cannot safely travel down Island for medical appointments on their own. Our driver was very pleasant indeed, thank you Dan.
The society was very responsive to my calls and answered right away.

All in all it was a very pleasant trip indeed! Thanks Wheels for Wellness volunteers and all of the generous donors that make this service possible.

I know this organization is volunteer run, however there is one driver who failed his client in a big way. Stage 4 cancer patient who is very low income, had an appointment in Nanaimo, made an appointment for a 7;15 a.m. pick up. Security footage showed the driver arrived at 7:06 a.m. and left without the client at 7:11 a.m. when I called their office to complain was told the appointments are made give or take 10 minutes either way, how can that be that makes absolutely no sense. The driver kept this client's money and the gal on the phone told me that it was the client's problem not hers. How many more people are being taken advantage of, missing their appointments, and their money being kept without the service being provided that's the question I have

Wheels for Wellness provided excellent and compassionate help driving my parents for distant medical treatments during the last year of my father's life. My father seemed to enjoy those trips both for the people he met and the wonderful drivers who made the difficult journey easier to bear. The people who work for this service are amazing people and I will always remember their kindness and compassion. Thank you Wheels for Wellness.

I traveled from Courtenay to Victoria and back. Absolutely a trouble and worry free ride. My driver, Bruce, understands the trials of the people he's escorting and makes sure you're comfortable for the trip. I was able to sleep knowing everything was in capable hands. I didn't have that anxious feeling you get when you want to get home quickly and someone else is driving. This is the way to go completely stress free.

I placed an email through the website and they "didn't get it" They only got my enquiery email from the weekend. The response I got was I should of called their phone number. Also they couldn't get me anyone for the time I needed. Will never use this company again. They bassically blamed me for the problem. I used the form on their website!!!! Don't trust them.

I have called for days over weeks, busy signal always. I got through once, and somehow got cut off in mid conversation within the first minute. I have sent emails, never a reply.
Wish I had an opportunity to even ask if there was assistance for me.
