New management is absolutely retched. Do not care about employee retention or mental health of employees. Will keep toxic staff members and won’t do anything to build up and keep staff long term. Very pretty place but definitely has gone downhill throughout the years.

Moving into the Berwick during Covid made my first two years here very challenging. I had to have two hip replacements in the middle of this and there were many rules and as a result many postponements even though I was in excruciating pain.
Administration was not helpful in this until my daughter insisted they do something to facilitate having the overnight support my surgery required. Since then, I have slowly adjusted to accepting being old. I do believe that is an essential developmental task of aging. Very happy with the availability of the Bat Mobile, the provision of activities provided is wide and helps with mental and physical health. There are not many amenities close by to Berwick and having to climb up and down the hill driveway is a real disadvantage. A tux shop or healthy food. Vending machines might make things better for us.

I've been working at Berwick on the Park for 3 years. I love everyday I go to work. The residents are wonderful. It is a fun place to work! I've made many new friends.

Would not recommend this place. We were told when we moved mom in that there was a car to take her to appointments and that a care staff would accompany her if family could not....not true. They said when we needed someone to go with her that they had no staff for that. Was told that if she needed help with showers, they could do that...not true. When mom declined in mobility and needed weekly showers we were told they were at their max of one per day. As soon as mom was placed on a waitlist for long term care they started to phone us constantly to complain about her needs even though we were doing all we could and had home support in place. When mom was hospitalized for a month and we went to pick up supplies from her place, the staff couldn't even be bothered to ask how she was doing. The place may look nice but that is about the only nice thing we can say about it.Go to Chartwell instead...it may be in the "hood" but the staff there actually care.

My grandma lived here 6 or 7 years before she died at the age of 91. The staff there were really good to her. I remember as a kid I would look at the fish tank in the lobby for hours on end, it was truly a special spot for me. The suite that was my grandma’s home was really nice and spacious. They have a bunch of activities for the seniors to participate in such as bingo. My grandma met some friends there who were all super nice and funny. I miss my grandma a lot but I’m glad that she lived in this wonderful retirement home and lived out the rest of her days happily. R.I.P Grandma, I will miss you
