I don't have enough words to describe how amazing everyone in this place is. From reception to all the nurses that saw my husband during his recovery, everybody was nice, professional and thoughtful. Unfortunately, I don't remember all their names, but a special thanks to Jen and Clarinda.

The nurses we saw provided palliative care to my mom in her end stage cancer journey. We saw Jenny, Jennifer, Jo-Dee, Julia, Jill and Connie. All were professional, courteous, respectful and kind. It was an awful situation but they were so lovely with my mom, and she enjoyed seeing them as well.

They were quick to respond to phone calls, and on the last day, Connie came to see us and check on Mom, and made sure she was comfortable. Mom passed that same night, and Connie called the next morning to check in on us. I will never forget the kindness shown by the nurses from LHH. Thank you.

WOW! Just wow!
Only in Langley such behaviours are seen! I have been trying to reach them for the past 2 weeks and left numerous voice messages and no one ever called me back.

Once again, I called them today and this time, miraculously "someone" picked up the phone. This phone call was on September 28 at 2:07pm.

I introduced myself with my name and explained why I had called. The No Name Woman on the phone started by "I need your care card number.” I said, “Sure, may I know who I am speaking with? Just a first name”. She said, “NO. I need your care card number.”

I was raised in Europe and moved to Canada in 1996. By no means I am comparing the superb European health system to the Canadian one. But, in 26 years of living in Canada, I have never seen such rude behavior. Even after I asked her again, “Sure, of course I will provide you with my care card number, date of birth and anything that is needed for verifications. But can I at least have a first name to know who I am speaking with?”

Despite this, the No Name Woman reply did not change. She refused to provide me with a first name, a “Susan”, “Cathy” or a nickname that I knew who I had spoken to.

Patiently I gave it another try and said, “Dear, I always document my interactions. So, I just need a first name, that’s all”.
Once again, the No Name Woman reply was, “I need your care card number”.

At this point, I simply hung up. It had become obvious to me that I was wasting my time and I would never get the help that I need from these people.

Do not waste your time and energy with Langley Home Health.

My son is a quadriplegic and returned home a month ago. Constant cancellations with no notice even though they know they have no one booked for him. My heart breaks for people in need that are left at the mercy of a broken and incompetent system! I will say when he does get care there are some amazing workers. For a man who's goal is to live independent it would be impossible if he had to rely on this service!

Looks like they are sending unsanitary people with no sanitary skills over to people's homes. Behind closed doors they ask you to keep cameras off because they are abusive verbally and really not doing their job. I'm looking for the Burnaby Fraser home support center. But they are mostly the same. It's a sad day to realize that our elders are being treated like absolute dirt and abused by these people
