They have a $25 order minimum. This does not apply to accounts in good standing. They prioritize their accounts over walk-in customers. They service a lot of small contractors. Their prices are amazing, they have a good selection. You can always call to confirm inventory. They sometimes come up with creative solutions if you aren't quite sure what you need!

I spent the morning trying to find 4 bolts. The only place that seemed to have the size and length in stock was this location. I had been to 3 automotive stores and 3 hardware stores and was directed to this company. The Surrey location (very nice guy) told me the Burnaby location had the bolts in stock. So I drove all the way there, (35 minutes) they had them and I was happy. Then the guy at the counter sheepishly told me I had to buy $25 worth of merchandise in order to be able to buy $5 worth of bolts. I explained my frustrating morning to him, but he told me he couldn't sell me the bolts because it was the manager's policy and he'd get in trouble if he sold me less than $25. I've never come across this before, and I was so angry that I wanted to speak to this manager, but he wasn't in. If you have the choice, deal with Surrey. The people working at this location seem like nice people. The policy they are having to enforce is really frustrating and seems rooted in trying to make more money than customer service. I asked if I could buy $25 worth and then return the stuff I didn't want.....nope. I didn't buy $25 worth of stuff I couldn't use and left quite angry. Save yourself the anger and frustration. Find another supplier or deal with the Surrey branch. Wasted an hour of my day!

I was struggling to find specifically sized bolts and when I stopped in here, Rob set me up with exactly what i needed and sent me on my way. He wouldn't accept a payment originally but when I came back for a couple more I had to make sure he took my cash. The minimum $25 sign was not something I had not noticed and he was willing to work with me. Thanks again Rob!

Great service.. ordered a jacket for my wife online. Of course when it got here she didn't like and and I was stuck with trying to return it. Called them talked to Daniel, thinking this is going to be a total hassle but turns out it was super simple and fast. love the customer service here! thanks guys

This is the worst company to deal with. We ordered standard sized stainless steel washers and nylon washers. They gave us the wrong size and then refused to provide the correct size or correct the order. If you need fasteners RUN away from these jokers they have no idea what they are doing.

Same poor experience as the other reviewer.
You drive 1/2 hour to get to this place, only to be told that there is a $25 min for cash sales. And that was after it took 10-15 min for the guy at the counter to make sure they had the fasteners I needed. Any exceptions I ask? "No - that's the policy" I'm told. I say - funny it doesn't say anything like that on your website (I checked before going) to be told "Oh yeah, the website is done out of Kelowna!"? Who cares where the website is done?
So I ask if I can set up an account. The counter guy calls over to the woman at the other end of the counter. She says it will be at least 1.5 hours, because she is just on her way to the bank. OMG.
I get that they could have this kind of a policy in place if there were 6 people queued up in 4 lines all trying to buy small orders at the same time.
However, I went in in the middle of the day, in the middle of the week and I WAS THE ONLY PERSON IN THE STORE.
Zero empathy.
Zero customer service.
People like this shouldn't be in business.
Hopefully more people will read the current reviews.
I'll never be back, and hopefully others will also avoid the frustration.

The people who answered the phones are friendly and knowledgeable. I went to the Burnaby Store all I needed was 1bolt 3 washers and a nut. The staff treated me as if I were a regular customer no rush and with great interest in what I was doing. Thanks again keep up the good work. Thanks Peter
