I like my family nurse here but she wasn't available for a couple of weeks and I needed a prescription refill sooner, so I scheduled a phone consult with a doctor instead. I hadn't received a phone call 20 minutes after the scheduled time, so I called the front desk to make sure they had this down as a phone consult and weren't going to charge me for a no show. It's a small clinic, but it somehow still took 15 minutes to reach someone. The doctor eventually called me 40 minutes after the scheduled time (this is for a 9am consult, so there were only a handful of people before me), sent in the prescription in a way that would cost me more and require more pickups, and then said he couldn't change it because he'd already sent it in. Avoid unless you have a family doctor/nurse here who you trust.

Shortly after eight this morning, I logged in and made an appointment for 1120. Arrived a few minutes late, but found the nice lady at the front desk. Helpful for checking me in quickly, And to my surprise within two or three minutes, I was called into an examining room where I waited less than one minute for Dr. con who helped me very quickly. Hard to beat today’s experience with a walk-in clinic. Kudos.

Most efficient clinic. Requires online appointment although phone is available during office hours. My lab results were posted & within 30 minutes they were calling me to set up an appointment to discuss the results. Got that appointment for the next day. How about that? I’m impressed.

Me and my family were patients of Dr Michael Mamacos of WELL Health Medical Clinic for around 2 years.

Dr Mamacos is a knowledgeable and attentive physician. He was always friendly and supportive to us. He went the extra mile when helping our infant baby to sort out his eczema problems.

The clinic has a clear and user friendly system of scheduling the appointments. The stuff at the clinic is kind and professional.

We highly recommend Dr Mamacos and Well Health Medical Clinic.

I had an extremely negative experience with Dr. Khan.

She completely misdiagnosed a serious medical issue, brushing off my symptoms and prescribing treatments that not only didn’t help, but could have made things worse. When I respectfully asked follow-up questions to better understand her reasoning, she became defensive and condescending, accusing me of not trusting her judgment instead of simply offering clarification.

I left the appointment feeling dismissed and unheard. Trusting my instincts, I sought a second opinion from another physician who was shocked by her diagnosis and the treatments she had recommended. It turns out the issue was far more serious and required immediate further testing and intervention.

This experience was not only frustrating but potentially dangerous. A doctor should welcome patient questions and demonstrate humility when things are unclear, not shut down concerns. I think Dr. Khan needs to be investigated.

It was quick and good care. I love the way it operates we had bad opinions about Canada Healthcare so far. This clinic changed my impressions. It worth for it to be Canadian. Same day appointment and same day lab test. No delay. But it’s good for small health issues only. If Canada Health’s operates like this people love to be here.
