Registered w/ them a while ago as my family doctor, but it's next to impossible to actually see a doctor or get an appointment. I just end up having to go to a walk in clinic most of the time ...

UPDATE: I got an appointment 5 seconds after posting this. But having to spend your day refreshing the app in hopes of an appointment opening appearing is kind of frustrating.

I am incredibly grateful to Dr. David Joyce and the TELUS Health team for the exceptional care they provided to my mother, who has skin problems. Dr. Joyce is a wonderful and compassionate physician who takes the time to listen and thoroughly address concerns.

We initially had a telephone consultation, during which Dr. Joyce was patient, attentive, and knowledgeable. He quickly arranged for an in-person visit to his clinic to ensure my mother received the best possible care. His kind demeanor and professional approach immediately put us at ease, and his thorough examination and clear explanations were greatly appreciated.

The entire TELUS Health team was also kind, efficient, and accommodating throughout the process. I want to express my deep appreciation to the front desk staff at TELUS as well. Their kindness and professionalism made the whole experience even more seamless.

I highly recommend Dr. Joyce and his team to anyone looking for attentive and high-quality medical care.

I just left an in person appointment with Dr. David Joyce and I’ve never felt so heard or seen from a doctor. Ever. He was absolutely kind and didn’t doubt me for a second. I didn’t have to fight to feel like I was communicating in a way a doctor would understand and not think I was crazy. He was more responsive, kind, and helpful than any other doctor I’ve seen and I was only there for 10 minutes. I would HIGHLY recommend him when possible. Thank you Dr. Joyce! I’m so appreciative.

They are the worst healthcare provider I have come across. They are trying to solve my breathing problem from last one year with couple of medical checkups with 2 months wait time each and after that they have given another medical checkup for root cause which has 5 months wait time to rule out allergic asthma. All for simple breathing problem. They couldnt even refer to specialist if they cant solve the problem. None of the medicines recomended worked for my health issue. Their answer is if i am not satisfied with their service, i can find another doctor. I am hopeless from this hospital. It turned out that the problem is Deviated Nasal septum which none of the physician able to detect or examine as a basic check. Literally there is zero examination from the doctor on the patient

Booking appointments to see my family doctor in person has been extremely challenging. The lack of urgency and understanding from the staff is disappointing. They seem unsure of how to assist me and often send me around in circles, which has been very frustrating.
When we do move forward, Telus will send me a bill for the appointment, even though it’s with my family doctor, and then it takes weeks to book appointments.

this is our doctor for our newborn and the rest of the family. that is difficult to find in Vancouver and we are grateful for this clinic. we use the app and also have in-person visits. all of the doctors are wonderful, they are personable, kind, and patient. the nurses and receptionists are also great. I never feel rushed and I'm comforted knowing that my son has continuous, good care. you also get follow-up notes after every appointment which is awesome. easiest place to park is the VPL.

A bit fustrated. I waited 5 days to see a doctor just to have her be 8 minutes late and hang up on me because I was adjusting myself in a parking space to speak with her. She did not let me even get the sentence out that I was parking, probably because she was late and needed to get to the next patient. She said I’m canceling and hung up, now I’m forced to YouTube a diagnosis and a remedy. I have to wait an additional 5 days to get another appointment. This is why the emergency department is backed up with non emergency situations. Because if YouTube don’t fix it then that’s my next stop. Terrible experience tbh.

The system works well for simple issues such as blood tests and quick virtual visits with the doctor but is an absolute nightmare if anything more complicated is needed. You will speak to corporate representatives who you hope accurately relay what you need to the clinic and you are completely unable to contact the clinic directly. It's better than no doctor but a far cry from our medical system even 10 years ago.
