Previously, I had visited Dr Hamid Khalili who completely misdiagnosed my condition! He disagreed with the physical therapist’s assessment and cleared me to return to work after just 10 days. The company followed his instructions, and I was charged $65 for his note —very expensive! After returning to work, my hand started to feel numb and painful again.
I went to another clinic, where the doctor confirmed the physical therapist’s diagnosis and even identified another underlying issue. It was clear that this first doctor barely examined me and was completely unprofessional.
I also have a claim with WorkSafeBC, but this doctor reluctantly said it should have been my family doctor’s responsibility to submit the paperwork. He only agreed to handle it this time.
This doctor is honestly terrible—I don’t understand how he’s even qualified to practice medicine in Canada.

Main issue: Doc did not take my concerns seriously I have 0 confidence in his diagnosis as well as his ability to be a compassionate person at all.
he just wanted to get me out of there as quickly as possible so you can move on in the next person.

If it were not the only walk-in clinic around I would never recommend it to someone

On a side note though, receptionist was nice.

Update: I could have died due to this doctor's negligence do not go here my life is forever altered because this man Dr. Khalili Hamid did his job with absolutely zero compassion.

I had a pleasant experience with this clinic. The receptionist was nice and the wait times are short compared to the other ones I’ve been to. Dr. Hamid Khalili was attentive and professional. The best part about this clinic is that you can most likely get your prescription right next door which is very convenient.

Very nice doctor and staff. There was no waiting time. Receptionist took our information right away and within two minutes we were talking to the doctor. There is also a lab down the hall so we didn’t have to look for a lab around. We will come back for sure.

After getting indifferent staff and being turned away event after an hour wait like at the other clinics, I wasn’t sure what to expect at this one but was pleasantly surprised with the friendly receptionist (who was working hard for sure) and getting an efficient, to the point diagnosis from Dr. Khalili, I was happily off with my prescription after a relatively short wait time. Like any walk ins it is busy, but they have a simple and effective process which makes me wonder why can’t other clinics including urgent/primary care centers follow? This clinic is definitely doing a great service to the community.

I had 2 family members go in today to see Dr. Hamid K. as they both have been ill with respiratory illnesses and bad cough and sore throats for more than 2 weeks now. The doctor said to 1 family member that she was not all that sick and it would pass, and wouldn't give her any medication. She was in and out of his office in like 3 minutes. She is is now even worse today and is seeing another doctor some where else tomorrow.

The other family member got medication as it's a secondary infection but he had to insist to the doctor to give him something to kill the infection. Both said the doctor was very dismissive in attitude and did not seem to care much. I feel that 1 star is too good for this review and I would not recommend you go here. Instead..head to Eagle Ridge Hospital emergency to get proper treatment....then get your self a real family doctor by registering on line. Save your time.!

First thing to know about this place is that you shouldn't bother calling first. They don't take appointments over the phone, they will just tell you the current wait time. Just come to the clinic to get in.
I arrived right at 9am when the clinic opens and I was the second person to be seen. There was about a half hour wait time even though I was there early, so I recommend getting here as early as possible.
The doctor was quick, but efficient (I just needed a form completed for my surgeon). I will say, they didn't make it clear if they were sending this form to the surgeon for me, so I had to send it to them myself, not a big deal, just something to note.
I would return to this clinic in the future.
