I was hesitant to have to get hearing aids. I was scheduled to have surgery on my eardrums but due to the lack of availability and the fear of having to do so, I spoke with my doctor about alternative options. My first appointment with the Amplifon clinic was scheduled very quickly upon reaching out to them. This appointment was for a consultation and a hearing test. I was treated with kindness and compassion for my situation. Every staff member I interacted with, was friendly and held a high level of respect and professionalism. My second appointment was to discuss hearing aid options. I was unsure if my disability insurance would help with some payments. The help I received to look into that was given right away to me and I ended up leaving the clinic that day with hearing aids. I can’t thank them enough for the prompt and friendly support. I have and will recommend this place to anyone who needs or is considering hearing aids. 🙂

It is seldom I am inclined to endorse any product let alone the service. Today I found a noteworthy exception.I want everyone to know how blown away by the friendly, fast and efficient service when I dropped in to the Kamloops Amplifon outlet.

Over the last few years I have made at least four attempts to resolve my ever increasing hearing loss with cheap, mail order devices that were constantly breaking down or never worked from the outset. My frustration had continued to grow as my hearing deteriorated.. More and more I found myself missing out on my conversations with my grandchildren, loved ones and friends. Those devices simply did not work.

After one visit to Amplifon and using their product I have experienced a full 180 degree turn in my ability to hear. While much of my frustration has been resolved and I feel much more confident in my hearing I am also less self-conscious about my disability regardless of where I am.

Thank you Amplifon. I am forever in your debt. Words can never express the true gratitude I feel as I face each day.

Three years ago, I believe I bought a hearing aid from Amplifon. When I bought the hearing aid for $2600 we were in investigating the possibility of tying it into my cell phone at that point he said my phone was too old and didn’t have Bluetooth so we couldn’t do it. OK no problem next year I got a new phone tried to access, the app for my hearing aid didn’t work. The next little while I’ve been trying with the app and with new batteries, nothing is working when I bought this nothing was said about a remote control that I needed for the volume. I went in this year to have it checked out again , oh it’s the hearing aid that doesn’t have the Bluetooth Not my phone didn’t know when I spent $2600 on it. Now I was told that to get a remote it’s going to cost me another $200. I feel I got totally ripped off. I’ve got a hearing aid I can’t use half the time, and very disappointed

Recently I moved to Kamloops from Mississauga, Ontario and my hearing aid needed cleaning. I found this clinic. Ken (owner of the clinic) was very welcoming and proceeded cleaning right the way.
In addition, Ken gave me some tips and helpful advices. I am glad that I found this hearing clinic, because I felt "at home" right the way. This is very important for me, because I have hearing disability since age 5.
