I recently visited BC Women’s Hospital and was truly impressed by the level of care and compassion I received. The doctors were not only professional and knowledgeable, but also took the time to explain everything clearly and patiently, which really helped ease my anxiety.

The nurses were incredibly kind, attentive, and supportive throughout the entire process. Whether it was checking in on me, answering my questions, or offering comfort, they went above and beyond to make sure I felt safe and cared for.

From start to finish, the staff at BC Women’s showed a deep commitment to patient well-being. I’m so grateful for the respect and empathy they showed me during a very emotional and important time. Thank you to the entire team — your kindness truly made a difference.

I have never in my life been treated better than when I got surgery at BC Women’s.
It was such a relief after consistently attending RMH due to the area I life in.
The nurses were consistently checking in, always asking how I was and if I needed anything. They put me under for the perfect amount of time and I didn’t even need a breathing tube so my recovery will be much easier.
Honestly, if you need ANYTHING done related to women’s health - please try and book here. Was a beautiful experience.

The c-section doctors were excellent and Dr.Lyons with her group were amazing but the nurses at the Arbutus recovery room were horrible. They mad my wife and me feel very uncomfortable. Kate and Jen secretly kept asking my wife regarding her personal life at home and if there is domestic violence when there was no apparent reason to do so. When confronted, the nurse in charge Jen, said that there is no reason for all the interrogation and that it is just standard procedure but it did not feel like standard procedure. My wife does not even want to come to this hospital for future pregnancies. Our stay was uncomfortable and filled with assumptions and accusation. The nurses do not change baby diapers even when wife is alone and still recovering. They did not bathe our baby at all even after 24 hours. The rooms are the worst I have ever seen in my life, no one has come to clean the room, floors are sticky, walls are damaged, very disgusting and dirty. No actual couch or bed for husband to sleep on No hygiene control what so ever. Worst experience ever. Will file a formal complain with the department as well and will be contacting CBC news so that everyone in the lower mainland is aware as well. Whatever you do, never accept to recover in the Arbutus wing.

I gave birth to my baby at BC Women's Hospital on July 3rd, and I couldn't be more grateful for the exceptional care I received. My OB, Dr. Yue, and the team from Taya were the most professional and dedicated group. Their meticulous and thoughtful service made me feel truly cared for and comforted. The cafeteria is awesome! Thank you to all of them—they are simply the best.

I went to the Early Pregnancy Assessment Clinic and had a great experience with all the staff I encountered. From the phone call to doing the ultrasound. I felt safe while getting the ultrasound done and any questions I had was answered with patience, empathy, and care and the experience really gave me a peace of mind. I am grateful for the clinic and what they do!

I delivered my baby and had ultrasounds done in this hospital, and had amazing experience with both! For the ultrasound, you watch the whole thing on a TV screen which is a great feature that other clinics don't offer. I had a C-section, and received top notch care from the on-call doctors, Dr Rosengarten (Surgeon) and Dr Sebbag (Anesthesiologist) and their team. Recovery was great, the hospital had everything we needed. All the nurses were incredible, and I learned something new from each one of them with every visit. I also got visits from a lactation consultant and a physiotherapist, both very helpful. We stayed at the Dogwood area, our room was clean and cozy, they had a comfy sofa-bed for my husband to sleep on. Room service was quick and the food was delicious, better than some restaurants I've been. Despite having some health complications, the care we received was so amazing that we left the hospital knowing we will want to have our next child here too.

The hospital has wide area. The parking area is very wide and good. The payment for parking is expensive a little bit, in downtown and this kind of area it is expected. After parking your vehicle you have to go inside and pay if you pass the first automatic door at the main entrance of the hospital. For inside service you have to follow the sign that located the location of services your need. The staffs are very good. I impressed about the friendly staff with helpful service. Thank you!
