The crew that you sent worked very hard and were good with the questions asked. 3 days for a completed fence. This was awesome was as we have a couple of dogs. Many of my neighbours have been by. All seem to like how it looks. I would definitely recommend 'Big Red Cedar ' to my friends and neighbours. Thank you for such a nice fence.

This is the second year our strata complex have ordered from Big Red Cedar and they have great prices for grade 2 cedar fence panels during their spring sales event. Great customer service and the delivery driver we had this year, his name is Phil went above and beyond in making suggestions and helping us stack and store our panels on site - he was also informative on how to clean cedar panels that have been exposed to the elements. We hope to have him deliver again next year 🙂

Had my fence replaced by them last summer. Price was reasonable for the quality received compared to other quotes I had. Around 9 months later I had an issue with one of the gates and the owner sent someone to come fix it without any extra cost. They did a great job and it's hard to find companies with such good after sales service these days so I'm really happy.

Went in to order some fence panels, landscaper had measured everything and gave me a list of what to buy. Walked in to the store, no hello or can I help you, nothing until I said I need to order some fence panels. The rude old guy never got up from his computer, I said I need 3 6” panels, rudely he snapped they don’t come in 6”, only 5.7” or 5.9”. I replied I guess the biggest ones as they match my current fence. I asked for four posts 6”, again very rudely why do u need 6”, normally it’s 8 as u need to put 2” in the ground. I replied, sorry but I’ve never bought fencing before, so I will have to rely on your expertise! BIG MISTAKE! I was never asked what grade I wanted, only asked if I wanted lattice. He printed out the bill brought to the desk, I paid and left. He was so rude I actually made a comment to multiple people on how rude he actually was, making me feel stupid! Landscaper picked the panels up with his trailer and they were put to the side, as I was laying sod. Landscaper I was using stopped showing up to work so he was fired. Since it’s summer, it took a couple of weeks to find new landscapers to finish the job. Fencing went up on Monday, I came home to find they had given me 5” fencing instead of what I asked for. I own over 1/2 acre and my entire fence is all 6”, why would I ask for 6” panels, then buy 5”? It looks ridiculous!! And it is NOT something I would choose! Emailed the company right away with photos, explaining their employee royally screwed up! Bill does say 5”, but I didn’t make the bill, I had NO control over what was on there, and why would I look at it? You would think you’re dealing with a competent employee who knows how to do their job, another BIG mistake, cause apparently they can’t! Response from Bill the manager was, this was purchased a month ago (cause everyone knows landscaping and construction jobs always runs on time right?), and that the bill shows 5”. Sorry not our problem. Then he changed his mind and offered to exchange the panels…. The ones I just paid 800$ to be put up? How am I supposed to take them down and get them to the store? Along with the labour it’s going to cost me to do that, on top of new posts I will have to buy, and labour to reinstall.
Being a single woman, not in the fencing industry, you hope to have people help you and order what you ask for. But not this company… they are putting their mistake on me. It’s common sense here when you look at the photo, no one would order this. HE screwed up and apparently they’re not willing to even try and fix this. Absolutely the worst company I’ve ever had to deal with. Many fencing companies out there, stay away from this one. NO customer service, and they are beyond incompetent. If you’re a woman, they make you feel stupid. STAY away, spend your money somewhere else!

Got three local estimates based on community recommendations, all three professional & timely. Follow up in all cases fantastic. Big red cedar however came in at half the cost of the other two based on what was being done from my point of view. One guy was changing all of the posts, one guy was leaving most of the posts but changing a few. Big red cedar (BRC) changed all the posts & came in at half the cost of the other two. Great work, solid, highly recommend. Side fence still the original, BRC connected to it.

Fantastic work and reasonable price. Excellent communication as well. Got our yard closed in to keep the dogs contained. The 12 foot gate allows me to get our toys in and out with ease. We loved the front fence so much we had them replace the rest of the fencing around our property. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! Thank you Big Red.

Had Big Red Cedar supply and install new fence in our backyard in March 2023. The process was smooth - from estimate to install. Bill answered my questions and the finished product is fantastic. They cleaned up the worksite when they were finished, too. We recommend them!

Thank you Big Red Cedar for a job well done, and being so efficient and dependable.
Dylan was great, as he explained well, and was genuine in making sure I was happy.
Gwen was spot-on with getting back to me via emailing, so it was very very easy to reach them.
I won't hesitate going back to them, for future fence replacement.
