From the first phone call to now, it only has been an amazing and positive experience! They are keeping a tight communication with their clients, have happy and respectful crews and take our requests seriously (we had serious water issues here before being graded properly by them).

I strongly recommend them and already booked them again for 2023 for our main driveway.

Look no further for your driveway to be paved! Brown’s Paving Ltd. is THE BEST! From Brent providing us with a quote, which was less than we had anticipated to pave our driveway, to his coordinating the driveway rebuild to paving it, every team member was professional, knowledgeable and personable including the office personnel. From start to finish our driveway was completed in less than a month and before the rain and cold weather set in.

We recently had the opportunity to have Browns Paving complete a driveway extension. Although our job was small compared to a full driveway, we were still made to feel that our business was valued. Nathan Bernard was very attentive & professional right from the quote to job complete. Also the gentleman who operated the equipment too were professional & knowledgeable. Very long term employee’s who knew their stuff. In fact my next door neighbour said that was the best paving job she had seen around our residence. Brown's Paving removed our old asphalt driveway and dug out and removed all the poor quality base, laid and compacted a new base and put down beautiful new asphalt. We are very pleased with the result and it looks great! Every person we dealt with at the company was helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant and seemed really intent on making sure we would be satisfied with the end result. This is what I directly communicated to the company on July 17, 2023...

In making this payment I would like to take the opportunity to voice my dissatisfaction with both your company and with the services that it delivered. While the driveway installation was satisfactory, the installation of front walkway and the rear patio areas was a complete fiasco… here are some of the problems we encountered.
1. Over one year elapsed between the initial quote and the completion of the contracted work.
2. The front walkway required two corrections before becoming remotely satisfactory… on the last correction one of your employees indicated that they brought a 6 foot level, why was one not used from the start?
3. The paint job did not initially include the separate border colour, no explanation was given to us as to why this occurred.
4. Due to your delays, we had to take delivery of a hot tub which we ordered. As part of that delivery in September, we needed to build a base for the hot tub. Should we ever decide to sell the hot tub and remove the base this now leaves approximately 80 sq ft of black asphalt on our back patio. That leaves a future problem for us to deal with!!
5. Communications with your company were exceedingly poor. Last year we initiated email contacts which went unanswered. This spring I noted that you had a crew at the end of our street doing a driveway installation so I walked up and spoke to the driver concerning our issues, no action was taken as a result of that discussion. My wife needed to call your company two more times before we received a response from your employees.
6. There seemed to be a tendency to blame a particular employee for the “problems” with this contract. As a previous business owner and operator I just don’t accept that explanation. Your company hires its employees, it sets out the conditions under which those employees operate including quotation approval, job scheduling, quality control and so on. Clearly, only the company is responsible for the eventual outcome.
Please be advised that we will post this letter to the North Moncton Facebook group as a caution to others that may wish to explore your services.

My experience with this company has been ridiculously Infuriating. I had a gravel driveway and wanted to get it paved. Many people have referred brown's paving so my fiance had called them. They were great at first and had come and asked us what we specifically were looking for. The price wasn't bad and they set a date. My fiance had unscrewed our porch steps as we wanted it paved all the way up because we plan on re doing our porch. We had let them know that all the had to do was move them away and pave under it. They had no issue with this. The day they came to pave they had not paved under the steps and they had to come back and patch it up, forcing us to have to put the porch steps back where the old steps were to hide the patch job. We also noticed that they had hit our easedroff with their truck and broke it. We had called them back and the estimators response was "oh yeah i was gonna call you. My guys having a rough week and has done this to two other places as well." They said they would come fix this. This did not get fixed until a month later. All they did was add a new corner bracket on to replace the piece they had broke. Later that week we noticed that the ease droff was leaking in that same corner. When they fixed it they did not seal it inside. I have trying to get someone to come back and fix this properly and they still have not come by. Everytime I call they keep saying "next week someone will come," or "oh I should've followed up with the contractor." The initial paving was in July and it is now October and still nothing has been done!

Brown’s paving did our driveway 20 years ago and it still looks fabulous. It has stood the test of time and then some. They take the time to do it right and it shows... from digging down and putting in a proper base to grading it to allow for run off. If you want a great driveway that will last they are the company to go with. 😃
