I purchased a canopy in February and had it installed in March . Great service and staff. I went today with an issue that was nothing to do with the install ,but with the factory. they put the truck in the shop and I was on my way 30 minutes later. what a great place to do business. Had a terrific experience at Cap-it in Kamloops today. I've been in a few times looking for help with a kayak carrier purchase. Carm provided information about my car's compatibility that wasn't on the Thule website. Thanks to his advice I decided to switch gears and get a Thule kit for our other vehicle instead. Carm and another staff member took the time to ensure that the cross bars we purchased at Cap-it fit properly. They also located more secure bolts that are required for this style of cross bar. Their friendly and helpful approach to customer service really made me feel like they cared. I would highly recommend Cap-it to anyone looking for professional and knowledgeable staff to help with accessories for your vehicle.

Very poor customer service. The staff clearly do not care about their customers. I bought a 2000 dollar tonneau cover from them. The front counter worker was dismissive, greeted me with a grunt and did not provide any updates on when my truck would be ready. I came back to the store about a hour and a half and found that the work was completed but I received no phone call to inform me of this. When I returned to pick it up, no one walked me through the installation, explained any warranty details, or even showed me the completed work.

After I got my truck home to inspect the work, there appeared to be a defect in the first folding panel closest to the tail gate. A piece of plastic does not have the proper tolerance and is rubbing, causing wear on the plastic and making the cover stick while opening.
I sent them an email explaining my experience and asked how it could be rectified and got no response back. Very very disappointed and I highly suggest shopping elsewhere.

I bought a canopy and 'LoadMyBoat' loader for my 2024 Toyota Tacoma, from Cap-It Kamloops. I had an issue with the installation of the canopy.
