I was a patient of this clinic for a few years until I was in a very bad car accident. I was travelling 70km/hr on Benvoulin when all the cars ahead came to an immediate stop in the pouring rain, putting me in the middle of 2 cars front and back. Dr Burget offered to take me on as a patient. She didn’t know me and I had severed a major concussion. She judged me based on my looks, continually while receiving treatment. Until one day, I finally asked to be taken off as her patient. I missed seeing Dr Klammer. She knew me and treated me very well, like a person. I felt cared for when I came in to see her. And to my surprise, shortly after asking to be taken off as a patient of Dr Burgets I was told I had to leave the clinic. The clinic would not allow me to see another doctor within their location, and my familiar friendly face was an image of the past…. when I had no where else to turn. I was a healthcare worker myself and was sent back to work way too early and developed a condition called Post Concussion Syndrome. The animosity that developed between Dr Burget and myself beforehand was unbearable. I was seeing a Naturopath at the time and she didn’t like it at all. It led me to develop white coat syndrome and anxiety patterns only making my condition worse. It’s been 10 years since I left the clinic and I have now made a full recovery. Dr Burget said that I would never heal and that my condition was untreatable. Well… I guess there’s a place for spiritual people in the world and following your own intuition. I had Neural therapy injections in the hard spots in my brain, every 2 weeks for 8 months, by a Naturopath. This treatment brought me right out back into the world, my personality started coming back, and I was laughing and smiling again. It was delightful. Following the Neural Therapy I was recommended to see an Optometrist at Okanagan Vision Therapy by another Medical doctor. This treatments involved retraining the muscles in my eyes. I did this for 2.5 years followed by seeing a Physiotherapist for Vestibular/Concussion rehabilitation. It took an incredible amount of willpower to find my own inner strength and the help I needed. But I knew that the body has an ability to heal itself… if you are given the right tools. What’s important is finding the right doctor/s that meet your requirements. It was a long journey, but I can say that I did it! ❤️

Very professional and very Friendly!
Short staffed with outrageous amount of patience but they managed well and were very organized!

These care workers don't get enough support but they are unsung heros for our broken heath care system!!

Cheers

Spent 5 hours in waiting and leave. Really, you don't even know how long you can wait : it's depend on "priority", that set by .. what? If you are working man and don't like to spend whole day in waiting - don't go. Go to walking clinic - you will spend , of course, with current BC medicine couple hours, but you will be sure that not more than 3 hours

During 2020 (covid-19) I came to this clinic with a giant cut across my pointer finger. I was bleeding and I needed medical assistance quickly. In the waiting room they gave me tissue and other things to keep the blood from bleeding any further I was in the waiting room for an hour. The man in the front tried to offer me a mask and I denied it. He was not happy with this option but because I was in distress he couldn't kick me out of the clinic I took it to my advantage and denied the mask. my mom did wear it. I still refused I told the man there I would have to watch him eat it before I put it on. He got irritated and left me alone. It took me a whole other hour to finally get The attention that I needed for my hand Even though there was hardly anyone else in the waiting room it was very slow. They did a horrible job numbing it when they tried to put stitches in but instead of doing that they used glue which came undone in a matter of minutes. I asked for stitches but instead they gave me a special kind of bandage that would be self-healing. That did work well. Not still everyone was miserable, it was ridiculous and no one was friendly. I definitely don't suggest going to this walk-in clinic. If I was able to
Rate zero stars I would. Also, one thing to add, I know this is a non-walk-in clinic but there were no other walk-in clinics open and they could have had a little bit of Mercy and compassion.

In my opinion this is hands down the best clinic in Kelowna. The front desk staff and all of the doctors I've interacted with are genuinely kind and helpful.
My daughter was prescribed some eyedrops, but was so terrified of taking them she flipped her eyelid inside out from squeezing her eyes so tight. I wasn't going to pry her eyelids open and traumatize her (and myself), so I called the clinic and asked if we could make an appointment to get the oral version of the medication.
Not only was the front desk lady super understanding and empathetic with my situation, she squeezed me in on a phone call appointment with a different doctor because mine wasn't in that day. I got a call back within 10 minutes and got to go pick up the prescription shortly after.

Big thanks to the team at Capri.

Just some stats: about every 5 minutes a name has called, so if want to know how long it'll take, count all the people and multiply, will give you a crappy estimate before you see the first nurse to evaluate you

Big sign on the door says "we are not a walk-in clinic" well... that's just great.. I swear the system deliberately make it impossible to get healthcare unless you win the draw and get a GP. Welp, I'll go walk in the cold with bronchitis/strep/pneumonia whatever this nasty ailment is until I either pass out or find an actual walk-in. Thanks.

I came in at 8:15am on a Thursday and was the first on the walk in list. I was seen quickly. Dr. Hoppe was kind and gentle and took the time to listen and did a few tests before diagnosis. She made small talk with me and was very friendly. The reception staff were all efficient and kind as well. I was very impressed with their service and would come back for an emergency again.
