Very unhappy with the service or rather lack thereof that I received from this clinic and Dr. Johnson. I had a major heart attack and received treatment at the Foothills Cardio ICU in Calgary who forwarded my file to Dr. Johnson who was supposed to contact me and never did. I had to phone his office and learned that he did receive my file, however, did not contact me. My family Dr. saw me within days and had some concerns about an ecg I had recently had and sent my file to Dr. Johnson.
to review. Again no response. I attended his clinic to learn he had received my Dr's. request and it was sitting unopened in his email for 3 weeks. I received a phone call from his office where another ecg test was arbitrarily cancelled without consulting my family Dr. or me which I found to be extremely disrespectful. His office called me today to advise he would be unable to see me as he was busy with other patients and transferred my file to another Dr. in his clinic. As I recently was referred to another clinic and cardiologist I told them to cancel my file there and forward it to my new clinic. I find it very concerning that Dr. Johnson is playing with people lives because he has over extended his patient list and does not have the time to properly diagnose and treat his present patients. I would not recommend this Dr.

They seem ok to deal with. My ECG was quick and easy. It’s my follow up I have an issue with. Every time I was told my phone appointment was for 10 am. I called that morning as I have setup my morning around a 10 am appointment only to find out it is 10:15. Not the biggest deal but it is frustrating to find out it was 10:15 this whole time maybe? And to always be told it was at 10 am. Then when they are late calling by more than 5 mins it does throw a wrench into my scheduling. Communication can be better here.

An exceptional team working with Dr. Johnson. They were polite, very patient focussed and on time. I was pleased with Dr. Johnson’s examination and efficiency ! (My family Dr (Aramide)at the Campbell Clinic received his examination notes within days.) Lethbridge is very lucky to have such excellent professionals.

Avery good experience. Phone communication in arranging the appointment was clear and helpful. The receptionist was helpful and friendly as was the girl who took my ECG. Dr. Villar made me feel valued and was very knowledgeable. Thank you to everyone.

I have an upcoming appointment with Dr. Villar this week. I received a call from the office, which I was not able to answer. After I returned a calI, was put on hold, I just hung up after waiting too long. I called again the receptionist let me know about my appointment next day. I was trying to clarify something with the receptionist, she was speaking over me. If I had done this when I was a receptionist I would have been fired, lack of respect. This doctor deals with cardiology, a person calling that office could have a heart attack dealing with that receptionist.

Every time I have spoken to either the receptionist or Dr. Villar, they have been very pleasant to deal with. They go over every thing to be sure I have gotten all the details necessary for all the testing required.
