I had a confusing and time consuming experience at this clinic.

To begin, I don’t agree with the reviews that blame the receptionists for the organizational issues at this clinic. From my experience, the women at the front desk ARE doing everything they can to provide patients with the best service possible. They communicated respectfully, clearly and promptly, called me when they said they would, and liaised well with the doctors. Rather, I suggest that whomever is managing this practice or front desk set their team up for greater success rather than leaving them to deal with patients who are frustrated by the clinic’s top-down organizational issues.

For example, not all fees for uninsured services are listed, so the front desk receptionists are required to check with the office manager for what to charge patients but can only do so after the patient has seen the doctor. The office manager wasn’t in today so the front desk receptionist said she would only be able to process payment once she heard back from her manager about how much the forms cost. Thankfully she was able to find this out and I came back to the office about an hour after I first left to pay. To avoid this, however, surely the office manager could create a list that includes all routine fees so the front desk and patients are aware of fees BEFORE they see a doctor.

Next, the office doesn’t have a credit card machine so they require patients to pay by cash or etransfer. I didn’t have cash so I paid by etransfer to [email protected]. I showed confirmation of my payment and was told I had to wait until the doctor accepted it. I waited 30 minutes and was then told I was I had been given the wrong email address for the etransfer. The problem was that I could not cancel the transaction. Dr. Tashakkor (who wasn’t the doctor I visited) then assured me that etransfer wouldn’t be accepted, and I should send another etransfer, this time to his personal email. So, I did. I was told to wait again until the SECOND etransfer was confirmed, despite showing a confirmation certificate from my bank. After waiting 20 minutes, I left. Thankfully I had my forms because once I got to my car I got a notification that the office accepted the FIRST etransfer (the one they said wouldn’t work). Thankfully I was able to cancel the etransfer to Dr. Tashakkor’s personal email so I didn’t get double charged. I expected I would be double charged, not out of malice on the clinic’s part, but due to poor payment practices.

I expressed to Dr. Tashakkor how unreasonable it was to expect patients to wait this long for payment to process, that the clinic needs to display all of their fees and inform patients how much they will be charged BEFORE they see the doctor, and the clinic needs to get a credit card reader. He then told me he agreed and told the receptionists they should get a card reader, when clearly that is not their job. It would be the job of an office manager or someone as high up in the clinic as himself. It was completely unfair to deflect responsibility and blame these women who were just doing as they were told. I really feel that they were doing their best.

I really hope going forward that the clinic treats their front desk staff better going forward.

What a terrible experience. The doctor I saw was a pompous entitled jerk. He thinks because there’s a doctor shortage he gets to pick and choose his patients. Ehh, wrong; try again Dr. Okojie. I waited over an hour for a 10-minute meet and greet. He came in stating that he was going to ask me some questions to see if I qualified to be his patient. Is that even legal?! Then he gave me a lecture about showing up late and making him wait. This was followed by a lecture about using AI to self-diagnose. By the way, there was no mention of using Google or AI from me. He wanted to give me a cautionary warning about his limits and his supposed evidence-based approach to medicine.

When I asked for an extra test to be added to the supposed bloodwork he’d mandate to me, only if he accepts me as to be one his elite patients, it resulted in an unhinged rant that he will not be told what to do, even though in the end he realized I was right. I've never met a totalitarian doctor before. It's my way; or the highway.

The only thing I wanted was a family doctor, not a scolding for all the potential things that I could do.

I've had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Parhar, and I can confidently say that he's one of the best doctors I've ever met. His knowledge, thoroughness, and compassion make him an outstanding healthcare provider.

I can’t believe this is Canada . I had a phone appointment with a doctor but I never got a phone call . I called the office and one of the staff called “ a liar “ . When I went there they didn’t want to tell me who she was . I showed them the appointment confirmation but they didn’t even apologize. Called me “ a liar “ over making an appointment! Where is our good quality costumer service .

The worst experience, I went in with the receptionist for my appointment, she told me to take a seat, I waited 30 minutes, when I saw that no one was calling me I went and asked them, one of them told me that they had not communicated that I had arrived for my appointment, they moved me to the room immediately and I waited another 40 minutes and no doctor came. I ended up leaving due to lack of professionalism.

Soo i got a family doctor at a clinic near me. (Like literally a block). Now i have to schedule visits at different locations because the one near by is NEVER available for upto 3 weeks.

I havent even been able to see my "family doctor" as he has not been available for months.
