I just finished a great virtual MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) class with Kasim. He is a kind and knowledgeable instructor. He is obviously a very experienced meditation teacher. Additionally, the virtual format worked better than I anticipated. His gentle voice and wry sense of humour made it a pleasure to attend the classes. The materials and information shared were much appreciated. I hope that they continue to inspire me to continue on my own meditation journey.

I have now taken both MBSR 1 and 2 with Dr. Kasim and both have changed the way I live my day to day life for the better. I’ve learned to better process conflict, negative/positive emotions, and to be more mindful of my state, including welcoming tougher feelings like anxiety and frustration.
Most of all, the meditation practices over the 8 weeks have built up my ability to practice in silence for short or long periods of time, with immediate effects (meditating is incredible for your focus).

My experience attending the MBSR teacher training program was transformative. Kasim creates a unique space for learning - one that is full of curiosity, openness and humour. The program itself provides lots of opportunity to practice meditation, in various forms, in a safe and supportive space. Not only have I deepened my personal practice and learned many skills that I can share with others, I have created friendships though an experience that, while online, has bonded us for life. I highly recommend any training or workshop that Kasim offers.
