I had the pleasure of having Chef Laura and her team cater my husband's 50th "James Bond" themed birthday party. Laura did such a fantastic job with the food pairings and even served & decorated the table in a JB theme. My friends loved the presentation and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend Chef Laura & her team!

I selected "build a basket - small" and proceeded to select my items. My order arrived with no basket, just the items I selected. I don't consider myself a dumb person; the wording on the website strongly implied I was purchasing a small basket filled with my selected items. She did include an additional spice to make up for the high shipping cost, even though I had made no mention of that. This indicates even the owner thinks her customers are paying too much for shipping. The idea of this business is a good one, but it needs refinement, especially the misleading language about "build your own" gift baskets.

I Absolutely loved my large Culinary basket from Chef Laura. The basket itself is fabulous not to mention all the great contents. Love the "Gourmet Spice Collection that was included...12 staple samples in one great package. The individual spices are amazing and such great playful names (The Jerk spice being my favorite :). I am crazy about the various Simple Syrups and bought a few bottles of the Gold Digger & paired these with little bottles of Prosecco as cocktail gifts. Highly recommend her products...look forward to trying out more.

Lucky me! Recently, I was fortunate to receive one of Laura's gift baskets. Perfect for a gourmet cook or someone who aspires to be! Every item in the basket is high quality, beautifully packaged and a gift in itself. With the easy-to-follow recipes and such lovely ingredients you'll be surprised how quickly special meals can be whipped up and served to your guests! Highly recommended!

I've called on Chef Laura for three different events: a corporate retirement party with over 60 guests, a casual birthday party for my husband with over 40 guests and my daughter's wedding with over 200 guests. Each time Chef Laura impressed with creative presentations and delicious offerings. The wedding was a particular challenge as the venue did not have a kitchen, yet Chef Laura had the skills and ingenuity to deliver a bountiful and beautiful buffet. Chef Laura leads a fantastic and professional team. I highly recommend Chef Laura and would not hesitate to call on her again!

I recently helped a friend who got married in Delta in September 2021 to organize her wedding which included hiring a catering company. I was confident and excited to recommended Chef Laura catering to my friend/bride because I had hired Chef Laura to cater an intimate birthday dinner for 12 for me in 2015 and she not only cooked an amazing 3 course plated dinner (plus three passed items) but Chef Laura was so personable to my guests and me. I knew she would be a wonderful natural fit for the bride and groom as well.

The bride and groom wanted a simple style dinner, BBQ meats. Chef Laura was able to create a special menu based on their suggestions. The BBQ wedding dinner that Chef Laura created was exactly what the bride and groom asked for and were thrilled with the flavour of the meats (the beef was so tender), the salads and sides were delicious. A couple of the passed items she created for the reception we’re chips and guacamole in small Chinese take away containers, and individual charcuterie served in stemless martini glasses. Chef Laura is easy work with and will help customize your menu as she did with my friend’s wedding. The bride and groom and the guests raved about the food and service. Her team was very professional and accommodating. Just the best service.

I highly recommend Chef Laura and team. Remember, when hiring a caterer it isn’t just about the food but also about the personal connection you make with the Chef and how well they will work with you in creating your best event.

Chef Laura has an artistic flare in her creations. The basket I purchased for my discerning foodie friend was a hit! It was a delight to see my friend open each item in the Beautifully and carefully wrapped basket. The packaging is lovely with clever Wit on the labeling. I look forward to trying these culinary gems so I’ve ordered a subscription for myself.
