Review: Poor experienced w receptionist.

I recently visited the clinic due to illness and requested to see my family doctor, with whom I have an established medical history. A receptionist approached and kindly suggested If I want to see a different doctor to avoid a long wait. I respectfully declined, explaining that I preferred to wait for my regular doctor.

What made me uncomfortable was that shortly after, I overheard her telling another receptionist that I was a “loyal” patient because I chose to wait. This was a private conversation, and hearing it shared—especially with commentary—felt unprofessional and inappropriate.

After this experience, I initially wrote a review but decided to delete it out of consideration for the clinic’s business. However, I later learned that a friend of mine who regularly visits the same clinic also experienced poor service from the same receptionist. This confirmed to me that what I experienced wasn’t an isolated situation, so I’ve decided to update and share this for the awareness of other patients.

What deeply concerned me was that the receptionist later called me directly, referencing my name from the review. This raised a serious concern for me about how my personal information was accessed and used. Instead of acknowledging the issue or trying to understand my concern, she flatly denied ever saying the word “loyal,” essentially placing all the blame on me. This felt very dismissive and gaslighting—if I hadn’t genuinely felt discomfort, I wouldn’t have taken the time to write the review in the first place.

To be clear, Dr. Rahimi is an exceptional physician—kind, attentive, and consistently goes above and beyond. My experience with the doctor has always been positive.

However, due to this troubling experience with the receptionist, I am now seriously considering moving to another clinic. She also told me she was the “manager and owner” of the clinic and called my review “rude.” I had not mentioned any names, nor was anything written out of anger—I simply shared my honest experience, which I have every right to do as a patient. Her reaction felt like an attempt to exert authority rather than address the concern professionally, which only made the situation worse.

I have been going to Choice Medical since it opened. Dr. Rahimi is one of the most dedicated and thorough professionals I have dealt with, and he communicates extremely well. The reception team is always very helpful, and they work very well under pressure. A special shout-out to Daniel, who always greets me by name and is genuine and friendly. No pun intended, but going to Choice Medical is a good choice!
