The store has some items that you wouldn't think to find there...so thank you for that. A bit of everything store and decent prices. I am hoping my bottle return experience will be better than what I read here or I may just skip that part of the store. I prefer donating empties to the Humane Society anyway so good reason to keep doing so.

My review is not for the super sweet lady inside the store but the miserable one working the bottle return. No matter how friendly you are with the lady shes miserable and snappy. Doesn’t matter how sorted the bottles are she will complain about them not being that way. If she can’t happily do a simple job she should not work here. What a joke of a return it depot spot.

The following is a review of the bottle depot not the country store.

Go. To. Cache Creek. It might be a longer drive but it would be worth it just to not deal with the staff here, their attitude seems to imply that they are so incredibly inconvenienced by you wanting them to simply do their job and recycle some cans.

I was told "Well I just don't count them if they're dirty". Guess what that can of coke had 38 grams of sugar in it IT'S GOING TO BE STICKY.
That does not justify you scraping the can slime from your counter on to my car.
Maybe 2 or 3 times I have a had a good experience here every other time for the last 3 years has been like pulling teeth.

It's just not worth it. I will be going somewhere else

Will NEVER shop here again the attitude of the person on cash is completely deplorable. I cannot wear a mask because of respiratory issues and have a doctor's note which I showed to her. She had the audacity to say to me "well aren't you special".

NO I'm NOT special unless you count the fact that if I get covid I will be in the ICU because that's how compromised my respiratory is.
